happygal178: Thank you very much for your sharing. I totally agree with your point of views, I also agree that 蘇浙 is more famous than LLC, and its language course is attractive too. So my husband & I still can't comprise, we still need to further discuss it. Its really a hard decision, plus it will affect my kid's futher, can't afford to make a wrong decision.

Actually, it's a pity that we gave up 蘇浙.. cuz most people know about 蘇浙 rather than LLC..

Actually my home is in MK, my son is accepted by LLC in Kowloon City, the orientation date will be on 9/5/09, as same as KCS.
I applied KCS was because both my husband & myself like the school (I studied in primary in KCS as well).
If we admit KCS, we still have problem regarding travel distance is too long to KCS for the kid (about 45 mins by MTR+walking). However, my husband quite insiste to admin KCS......so.....very big head now.....

YiuChunMa ,
did you go for the registration at LLC on Apr 25? KCS's registration date is on May 9.

I personally think that travl time to school over 30 mins is too tired for kids daily.
Sorry that I don't know the quality of 粉嶺浸信會呂明才幼稚園, so can't provide comment to you.
If finally your family will move to kowloon side, may be your kid can go to school in 粉嶺 for K1, then transfer school to kowloon tong during K2 or K3. Although famous Kindergarten does help for P1 application, I believe interview is rather important.
Actually my son got offers from DHLL, Kowloon LL and KCS as well. I gave up Kowloon LL and KCS already because they are quite far for me. I think most of us already got some ideas about these schools. Each school has its strength/weakness and it's difficult to make a choice. Undoubtedly LL will be a wonderful place to 'learn and play', however we also need to consider whether we can spare time to teach our kids writing and language skills if we don't want our kids to be 'lag behind'. There may be no 'perfect school'. For me, I can only set priority for factors such as school/staff quality, P1 allocation results, locations, $ etc. and consider whether I can 'reimburse' my child with what he cannot learn from school. I register for DHLL last saturday but still struggle whether to go or not. What a headache!
Hi YiuChunMa,
Ths for your advice. I believe we will choose 粉嶺浸信會呂明才幼稚園 as it is not far away from our flat. The time and $ saved from the transportation (Fanling <-> Kowloon) can be used for my daughter to join our extra curriculum activities !
