My daughter is whole day class k2, want to change to half day class. Any letter sample?
is it a must to start with next session ( Feb 2009)?

Hi bwyyz04,

You only need to ask teacher and write a simple letter as a record for the school showing that you would like to have you daughter in a half day class.  If there isn't a seat at the present then school will put you on a waiting list.  As soon as there is a seat available they will let you know. You may only need to start at the following month.

I did what I mentioned above as my son changed to whole day from half day class.

Could you share with me why you want to change to half day class?  As I wasn't very sure if it was right to have my son in whole day class even now.

the reason I want to change to half day is that:  I hired 2 maid to care 3 child. So i want to save some $. and i think my eldest daughter is getter more mature and no need to sleep at school. When holiday, she will sleep later at about 4-5pm rather than 12-2pm.
And i can spend more time with her as i am on shift duty.

But the school told me still have to wait, no sure weather there is place on  Feb next year.


How about u? why u change to whole day??

I think whole day school might help my son to be more independent.  Since November 2008 he transfered to whole day class till now, he is doing much better than before.  

But I don't like the 12 month lesson for whole day class.  it is the first time I ever known that a Kd has 12 month lesson.  According to teacher, they only play different games rather than give real lesson. It is not fair to him while his brother can have almost 2 months' summer holiday.  We, as usual, will go abroad for holiday.  If so, we will have to waste the fee since we have to pay full payment anyway.
