Dear all,

I am quite interested in the school as my son's teacher told me that a school using activity approach is more suitable to my son. I think LOGOS is a suitable school for him.

I am not a Christian, do you think the school will largely consider the religious background?

What is the chance of admitting to the school? I heard that 210 students will be admitted? Usually how many applicants would complete for the 210 places?

Dear enidchiu:
I'm not a Christian too! But the school accepted my son. I think the school most concert about the performance of the child during the first interview. Don't worry about the number of application. Just consider your child is suitable or not suitable. That my own opinion.

my understanding is that though Logos is a christian school, there is NO slight intention to discriminate non-christian. Instead..the school welcome non-christian, just as what christianity is all about......God loves everyone.

I remember Principal Paul Yau mentioned that normally there are some 1000 applications every year.

Thanks very much. I am impressed by the desciption in the website. But I am too late to know about the seminars.
I wonder if the teaching approach is quite similar to international schools. My son is quite an active boy, i hope he will be happy if he studies in this school?

Can you give me some tips about the interview? What kind of students and parents is the school looking for?

my understanding is ...the school's teaching is activity based, from the video show I watched in the parents briefings. The class is very lively, with active participantion from the students. The students are really enjoying.

My son is also the type that hard to sit still....He'll join the school in this September. Logos runs many times of the admission briefings (4-5 times at least) you can join 1 some other time.

For interview, just as recommended by the Principal, I did not prepare anything, nor joined any "interview preparation" classes. Just let the kid show himself naturally will do. The first interview is very long, as they really want to observe the kids long enough and see his natural behavior ( not the taught ones).

When I chat with the Principal during the second interview, he also said that personal profile is not necessary. They don't read it at all.

I think the most important thing is that you see education in the same line as the school.
