I'm not so negative about DWE. Somebody had given me an old set. I let my baby watch 30min a day. Listen to the CD for another 30min. For morning time and night time, listen to the wake-up song and bed-time song. Now, when I sing the songs of DWE, my baby smiles and looks at me in an interesting way. He loves play along very much. (That's the first VCD he watched - a copy from my friend, and then I know I have to find the whole set for him.)

I found that the whole set of DWE actually doesn't have much content. The 12 basics ABC VCDs are the main program. Sing along CD/VCDs are just the Song version of the 12 basics program. Play along is interesting but there are only 3 CD/VCDs. It doesn't worth several thousand dollars!

You've done so may research on teaching materials!
Without doing any comparison to other Matertial, I 've bought DWE already, although my baby is now only 5 1/2 monthly inside my body ! She will be born at Christmas time!

I think disney is fun ~!

And in my point of view, whatever material i give to my baby, i don't expect she can fullly , 100% utilized it. I will be satisfied by 50% result already.
But of coz, if she can do more, I will be very very happy

!!!

I myself have a little brother (many years younger then me), he's very clever, but fail his HKCE English exam, i found his pronounciation extremely bad. And he has no confidence at all in English~!
