My son is studying in Wah Yan Primary school now. As
his English is getting worse and I dilslike the "over"
traditional teaching method of Wah Yan, I want to change the school.
I have already given the registration deposit of $11800
to KCIS. But now, I have a little bit hesitate. I don't
know this change is good or bad for my son.
please give me some suggestion.
A friend of mine has her daughter transferred to KCIS (i think she is in P4) from Marymount last Sept and is very happy with her progress at KCIS. She noticed that her daugher's English and Chinese have both improved a lot and she has also developed a good reading habit. Hope this help.
I have gone to Wah Yan today & collect the school report. My son has got a great of impovement this term & the class teacher also praises him. I walk around the school and I have a little bit of hesitation about changing the schoool. In fact, I seem to have studied with my son in Wah Yan during these 3 years.
My friend hesitated initially last summer too. What she didwas to let her daughter attend KCIS for 3 weeks in Sept before making up her mind. Last year Marymount delayed the commencement of its Sept term due to the removal to the new school building and so my friend was able to make use of this "gap" to try KCIS out.

Her daughter studied in another elite local school before switching to Marymount so it is more a problem with the local education system rather than a problem specific to Marymount.
