I'm not sure the learning pace of your kid, however, my personal opinion is that if there is difficulty for a kid in learning, the teacher should be patient, willing to motivate and appreciate students and prepare games for learning to arouse their interest in a subject.  Intensive training may not be suitable for slow learner.

Hi ,
I suggest your son to make some English speaking friends (kids), cos' kids learn heaps naturally through playing with their peers. How about enrol your kid to an English Sunday school or English summer courses (e.g. they do reading, singing, dancing, handcrafting...etc)?

I think the most important is to let your kid explore how fun it can be with English. Not seeing it as "learning" but of "playing" . When he doesn't feel the pressure of "learning" , he is more willing to engage into the English environment.
