Re: Does your child study in People Impact?

My son had attended one full course. I found the course not to be beneficial to him. During the course, it was right that the facilitator(s) designed different kinds of games to play. The medium was English and sometimes in Cantonese. Initially, the parent were invited by the person-in-charge to discusss with him about progress of your kid and was provided to DVD in which process of the classess were recorded. However, we decided not to further pursue another courses at the end of the attended course. The parents were invited to discuss the development of the kid. No further DVD was provided. Even though my kid finished the whole, no certificate was issued to him until after 9 months, serval telephone enquiry were made to chase the staff.

On the other hand, I don't see any progress of my kid in term of confidence, communication skill, EQ, concentration of study, etc...

In my opinion, I don' recommend parents to send their kids to take course(s) in that organisation. The course costed $2,300 monthly (in 2004) that was quite expensive.

my children haven't attended, but I feel the courses are not worthwhile to me, paying several tens of thousand dollars for a chance to increase IQ by several to about 20 points (I guess), as promoted in their leaflet. Quite obviously it's targeted at upper class. Moreover once I dropped by their promotion counter at Kln Tong MTR station some months ago, the CEO & staff showed little interest in talking to me and my child (bearing in mind there was no other people at their counter, and I dressed very casual on that day), even though I was quite enthusiatic in taking their short assessment test. They give me an impression that they are money chaser instead of whole-hearted educators. This is just my subjective impressive, not necessary correct.
