Re: 請問九龍塘幼兒園邊間好?
Hi,
Definition of real bilingual for me is: two teachers (one native English and one local Cantonese or Mandarin) teaching at the same time, dividing into two groups, while one teaching one group in English other at the same time in Chinese then switch. As far as i know:
Victoria (Ho Man Tin)- very popular, very difficult to get in, has Primary school in CausewayBay and Secondary in Sum Wan
Yew Chung - expensive, heard is good, with primary and secondary, has int'l section and locan stream
Kingston - even more expensive but other mothers said their teaching in Mandarin is very good, has primary school
Tutor Time - seems to me not very difficult to get in, expensive but good teachers, students will mostly go to international schools in primary
Keen Mind - difficult to get in, but curriculum is very advanced, mainly go to local Eng primary schools
Hong Kong Pre-School - very popular but currently with school rental issues, mainly go to local Eng primary schools
Learning Habitat (Hung Hom, near Olympian city, Tsing Yi) - very popular among mothers living nearby, very new school with clean and new facilities, mainly go to local Eng primary schools
Think international (Boundary St) - other mothers in this forum said strong English teaching but the facilities are just so so, go to local Eng primary schools or ESF
My girl is attending Yew Chung pre-nursery. i chose this one because the school has outdoor playground (which is to me very important) and with good reputation.
