Re: Starters or Woodlands
My boy attended playgroup in Woodlands (Wanchai school) before going to Starters now. I can just tell my exprience and observations from Woodlands' playgroup when compared with Starters. So may not be a comprehensive comparison.
Woodlands:
1. spacious environment (with big hall as playground, covered playground tho' not hanged around by children during school time, but with lots of stairs)
2. good mix of multi-nations of students
3. good communication with parents (newletters with photos and lots of details, speedy feedbacks to parents' enquiries, letters to parents)
4. more extra-curriculum activities (with extra payments)
5. mandarin taught in school hours (tho' just 20 min. once or twice a week)
Starters:
1. Good words of mouth (I once heard that even some ESF teachers sent their children there)
2. Children with good discipline and manners
3. Good mix of multi-nations of students
4. caring teachers
5. Can teach children good english (my boy's english progresses very well there)
6. Affordable school fee
7. Homely environment
Hope the above helps. |
