Dear Masaka,

I went to the school yesterday and talked to the parents there, most positive comments were rec'd.  I overheard their pupils (in primary) are communicated in very fluent Englilsh sound like "ABC" accent, I overheard a group of students (High Grade form) communicated with a lady teacher in English.  

Also, this school will give each kid candies for each interviewed section, this make a very difference with the others.

As mentioned earlier, my husband and I decided to take up this school is - We believe...

May be you can spend some times to visit their website, its design and feel is very updated when compared with the others.

Would you mind to share your son's interveiw experience with us? What is the content about the interveiw? Who is the interveiwer, teacher or head master ?

Thank you so much your sharing.  

As you said pupils talk in Fluent English.  How old they are?  In Secondary students or P2 to P4 students?  Also do you know their academic result which is o.k. or poor?

Dear Masaka,

My 1st proity is Pui Ching (b'cos near our home) or PLK Tan Siu Lin ( b'cos famous in English); Besides the 1st round lucky draw I chose La Salle.  How about yours ??
For us if we take St Margraet, we may take at least 2 hours for the transportation time.

Masaka,

The students that I talked to are in P2. Mainly boys. While they are queing up to go to the school bus after activities.
I also noticed soem students (girls) talked to each other in English (probally ABC and Pakinstan student).
I also noticed that the head tacher (Miss Lee? as I can't rember her name after the interview..she interview us), noticed some student standing outside the admin. office, she brought them into the admin office and let them wait there for their parents to come and pick them up ((those mey not take school bus).
I also think that this school arrangemtn is good since the briefing section (let your kids to go to a game room to play so that you can focus on listening on the topics), and the interview set up make it like a funfair for the kid to play...so they do not have pressure and feel relex before go up to the stage to meet the principal.
So overall comment is Good and I don't think they have P4 student yet as they refuse to take any new student from outside to any class except P1, so that they have contorl on the quality of the student since P1.

Dear SA+GA,

sorry for the belated reply!

I guess that ICQM may not conduct further large scale interview since my son is also the second batch of candidates.  I have heard that the school begain recruitment very early every year.  Anyway, the interview is in group format and there are around 5-6 kids in a group.  they are being called to a classroom where they were asked to sing, to write some words, both in chinese and english, and to listen to some music and make some drawings.  Parents were led to upstairs classrooms for interview.   Since the school requests parents to pay outstanding amount of school fee for the 1st month$2950 by mid December this year, I believe that some parents who have made the reservation just in case may drop out eventually, I guess if you want to try your luck, you can send out letter to the school for chance of separate interview.

我星期四去面試,差不多等佐3個鐘,原來在上面看卡通片,到我找老師問個仔行蹤,先至話剛剛見老師,之後問個仔有無見校長,佢話無,話老師問完學術上的問題就叫佢走,都唔知真定假,主任又話學術佔40分,見教長40分,見家長20分,無見是咪無分.

Sorry !   "支那人"  和各位會員 , 本人並非回應標題, 只是看到閣下用 "支那人" 這登入名稱感到有點不妥, 閣下是否日本人??  如不是, 為何用一個二戰時日本人侮辱中國人的名稱呢??   在各位會員回覆閣下的留言時,便發生 左一句"支那人", 右一句"支那人"的情況, 本人只是看到後感到不吐不快,為何我們中國人總是欠缺一點自愛, 見諒.

i rec'd their call for the register before next wed, but i forgot to ask them,----

-是否交$400,
-要否簽定放棄自行收生 / 或中央派位之信件.
      (可唔可以11月21日后才簽呢？)

Dear Jesse,

My 1st proity and 1st round lucky draw is 陳瑞祺 at Ho man tin which is near to us and hear that is o.k. for academic.  I also interview PLK Tan Siu Lin as your means like this school in famous English and near than St. Margaret.  But my son interviewed that day with group in 4 Indian kids.  So that i think it is no way on 2nd interview.

And my son have get seat 土瓜灣牧愛小学上午校 which is a English Primary School and hear from mom said that this academic is good.  Do you know this school?? pls give any comments, thanks.
I not yet pay deposit.  Since I do not like this school's environment as it is old and small.  
but i think i will pay deposit as for backup.

St. Margaret, so far i heard is good comments.  as we said it is little bit  far to take more time on transport.

Hi Winma,

My daughter did enjoy the interview and contents are the same as previous stated by other parents.  The interviewer was head master and we shared the vision of the school, she asked us to ellobrate the strengthness of my daughter.

Most probably the kids are ranged between P2 and secondary form.  I have no idea about their academic result...

首先到校登記填問卷,內容(你孩子優點和缺點,對孩子應培訓那種專長,你認為孩子讀書最重要是那幾點,8項選4,對學校有什麼意見等)記得不大清楚,之後就帶小朋友上課室,家長會在地下校務處外等侯,約2小時左右,期間會叫名見家長,內容(見我是主任,佢先講解小朋友會在課室內考什麼東西,如看圖說英文,計數填顏色問中文字等等,之後就解釋計分方法給我知,最後問我有關問卷上填的資料及孩子平日生活習慣等)之後再回到校務處大堂等小朋友落來.
