每年都好似有三四百人考的,睇下果年有幾多位,咁比左一半幼稚園生,淨返果d咪拎出黎比人考

I called the school which asks me to call again later.  They say no application form needed until interview time.  Seems strange.  Any idea?

The school said that we can send the application letter to them at anytime.  Then they will arrange an interview in between end-of -Nov.  I think they want to arrange the interview after the first round(自行分配學位).  So it can reduce their no. of interview.  
Does anyone know that can we send the profile with the application letter to them.

Last year I apply for my daughter, I only send letter to the school to request for application. I received their reply on October telling you the day and time for interview. They will not mail any application form to you before interview. You can get the application form when you arrived at the school on the interview date, and then complete the form and stick the photo there. My daughter was arranged to go to 2nd floor to see the teacher. I attach the personal profile to the application form when I submitted it to the staff.

My daughter was on the waiting list end up, but it seems that more applicants have given up the seat. My daughter's three classmates have got the seat but given up at the end. They all go to other DSS school and private schools which have less homework and pressure. Therefore on 1 Sept, the school call me they have seat for my daughter. However, I turned down because my daughter have started in one DSS school and feel very happy when she came back from school.

Your information is very useful. So I will not mail the profile with the application letter.  May I have more details about the interview?  What style of the interview (group or one-by-one)?What kind of questions they will ask?  What language are they used during interview?  How long time they used per interview?

我其實唔太清楚面試內容，因為我囡囡唔鐘意間學校，她面見完之後唔肯話我知問甚麼。她們一組一組排隊被帶去樓上班房見老師，家長就在樓下有蓋操場等，無得陪同小朋友去。囡囡話入到班房之後是一個一個見，好像是用中文問，她說問題都唔難，但她說有些問題她特登唔答，因為她唔想考到這間學校，因為她聽人講這間學校勁多功課做，很難和很深。我都唔知她在那裹聽回來的，總之被她激死，我都冇佢符！

其實...我都試過類似情形, 我個女當年考幼稚園, 考第二間, 明明咩都答, tum到個老師笑晒咀
去到聖心, 我個女居然咩都唔肯答, 連俾糖佢食都唔要....可能小朋友真係感受到聖心果種"壓力"啦
希望佢而家5歲, 無咁moody啦
(呀, 想再confirm, 係咪即係聖心完全唔考家長??)

同一間學校都有差異既..................我私人覺得都ok架,上午班平均都唔超過五樣功課..........你自己覺得多唔多丫?我諗多/少壓力唔係一個問題,係有無教佢疏導最重要...........

如果係由得佢自由發展既,我諗大人/細路都會辛苦.....要大人幫幫佢地架

我唔聽見囡囡有同學仔入讀聖心，她那班得10個女仔，有三個考到，但全部都冇去讀。

至於HKUGAPS，我聽說很多人去考，我囡囡間幼稚園上午兩班中就最少有7個考到，但只有3個去讀。她開學兩個星期，每天都很開心回家，因為除中英數常外，還有舞蹈、音樂、跆拳道等有趣單元。但家課就真是很少，重少過及淺過幼稚圍時，只有兩三樣，有些工作紙只需寫幾隻字，我放工回來她都已經做完。

其實聖心同hkugaps都好正, 只係教學方法唔同, 正所謂各有各正之處 ...... 魚與熊掌...... 不過我囡囡可能兩間都唔入.....

My daughter just started P1 this Sept.  So far she likes her teachers, makes a few good friends and enjoys her classes.  Homework is very reasonable, 2-3 per day, usually half of her homework are already done during the lesson. One test and one exam per term.  Personally I very much like this school.
