This post is quite meaningful.

Without this post, Some parents may not know the academic results of many schools have been re-ranked.Should

fact check on school reports instead of here-saying from the forum with lots of fake news here.

And some parents might miss the astounding drop out rate of a school (as that hundred of students left the school for SPCC,DGS and Oxbridge

.). But I tend to believe as most S1 students are from K1, there is great percentage of mismatch of ability of students and so there is disproportionate number of students that need to leave. As few as 1/3 of SPCS P1 students contribute to their DSE results. The discussion of DSE results is less significant in context of that school

Without this post, I also do not know about the respect conduct of the marketers (marketing team) of catholic schools. Eye-opener!

Of course, after three rounds of interview, still 272 students on waitlist. Some parents are very desperate for others to release offer is highly likely.

"monster" parents are everywhere around us. I can only feel sorry and pity for them if they have to rumor to get a chance for wait-list. So sad!

唔係....佢嘅fact check 係base on 佢嘅own believe 或者fantasy 而唔係 base on 有跟有據嘅school report 咁解啫⋯⋯搵食啫⋯⋯俾條路佢走啦⋯⋯我已經做咗佢條下台階啦......喺EK有呢種作風嘅人見怪不怪。

我講緊冇zoom class啊，唔係冇網上教學，因網上教學都可以有多種形式，例如老師自己拍片，ETV，網上現有youtube片，google classroom等等。對於初小學生，zoom class反而唔係最fit，所以我奇怪為何band1 A就要有zoom class

It is more important from this discussion to see other parents rumor around without bringing up actual statistic. The only statistic the SPCS marketing team copied and pasted from the other forum user is not fact-checked.

Thank to Linus Yip, the true data (college admission) is clarified.

The marketing team cannot bring up any other data to counter-check and can only do personal attack....that's the level of supporter of SPCS (one of the consideration for parent to consider on a school choice.) SPCS recruit parents of demeaning characters? Eye opener!

Lesson learnt: any parent is suggested not to trust the prejudices online but do own research.

順帶一提，中小幼喺同一位置校舍對小朋友係好溫暖大家庭嘅感覺，幼稚園下午班午會嘅時候，小學放lunch，見到小學生隔住圍欄好開心同幼稚園老師打招呼同望住班小師妹喺度玩。中學部師姐同小學部有joint activity，隔離醫院同修道院嘅sister 又會過嚟探訪，old gals 會同中學師妹分享同支援，打造一間有歷史同質素嘅學校，全靠一班Paulinian。
