the terms of corporate debenture or corporate nomination right varies. each school has their own policy. i think u better check with admission team of those schools you are interested.
generally speaking, CNR could be held by a company owned by your relatives. as long as the company's board of directors approves to nominate yr kid, it doesn't matter at all. some may need to prove that one of the parents is working at that company.
the school usually checks the company's financial reports to ensure it's a company with real business, instead of a shell company. some schools may require that the holder of the CNR should be a main board listed co like CIS
