Please don’t get me wrong. I’ve no implication to say that “IB is harder and more welcome by most sought aftercourses of universities”. What I’m trying to say is that if a studentchooses a curriculum he/she is interested, no matter IB/DSE, he/she willperform well and get good results. Thiscan definitely increase his/her chance of getting a place in universities. Actually,I think both IB and DSE examinations are difficult. There’s no free lunch. Should one want to get something, one shouldwork harder.
"沒興趣讀神科""勉強催谷"has nothing to do with IB’s curriculum. It’s just something about my daughter’spersonality: she’s a peacemaker, doesn’t want comparison with others. I’venever interfered with her studies but advised her about the consequences. Learningis a lifelong business. I think if she can study a subject she is interested, that might benefit her for the rest of her life. Not everybody needs to be adoctor, a lawyer or an accountant. |
