Actually, I believe most IS uses simplified Chinese because being Int'l school, they need to adapt to the most commonly used form of Chinese (by world population), plus politically correctness wise, simplified Chinese is the official Chinese text adapted by China. Simpler to learn is definitely a plus point for expat families too.
I guess the simplier question (with a shorter list), would be to ask which IS in HK teaches traditional Chinese. I think CIS & RC uses traditional text only. CAIS & CDNIS (and maybe HKIS too?) uses both: traditional text for their "native" streams & simplified text for their "expat" streams (for the sake of a more direct description). Fellow parents please add to the list and/or correct me if I got any info wrong. |
