Yes it's still an option. Quite a number of graduates have gone to the UK (University of Leeds/Manchester/Newcastle/Birmingham etc....) But these UK universities are usually not at the top of the rankings. Usually if you want a university that really recognizes the diploma, go to Canada as many end up in top-ranked instituions like Univ of Toronto (#17 in the world).
If you plan to send your child to the UK - put them through the IB or GCE A level curriculum instead. |
