Seems that parents are getting more and more nervous. I have learnt to be Ah Q and told myself that the game is over and my kid has no chance for 2nd interview.
As far as I know there will be quite some 1st interview results released from this Friday and next week, ie invitation for 2nd interview. E.g. SFA this Friday, 高主教書院小學部 by next Monday, TSL next Tuesday, DGJS & SPCCPS later next week, DBSPD in early Nov...... Anyway need to relax or otherwise......
As far as I know, donation is on voluntary basis. Like all other schools, all have their own fund raising activities like sponsored walk. No pressure will be imposed on you if don't given any donation. In fact the school is already quite rich. They preferred talented kids rather than money. For those who really has financial difficulty, all their school fee will be waived. http://www.spcc.edu.hk/chinese/admissions/fee. And all parents and student don't known who's in the fee remission scheme. However, you have to be admitted first before you enjoy the benefit. The competition is really high.
As far as I know this is totally wrong. It is voluntary. If you are rich, no one will stop you from donating $500,000 to the school. You may even consider to set up a fund or donate more.
When will the school call for 2nd interview? According to past practice, the school called 2 days after the completion of 1st interview. Why still no news?
