It seems to me that this year's "mid-joint" program of La Salle should have been finished up till now. This is my son's first and last trial. Nevertheless, there is no good news from LSPS even through he has a chance to have the interview.
Well, an old school likes LSPS should have its standard procedures in selecting the mid-joint students although the principal in certain extent may have her / his discretionary right in selecting some students. To me, unless there is strong evidence, I wouldn't say that those admitted are related or referred by LSPS teachers or the principal. If there exists the mentioned act of related students could be easily admitted, the academic standard will surely fall and you won't be interested in applying. Nevertheless, this is my own opinion.
Good luck to you all especially for those who are prepared to try next year or so.....
