Same (poor) arrangements last year, but hotter then than now. No improvement (on purpose?) at all.
From the school administration's point of view, they may say that no one forced you to apply to this school and you don't have to apply. ("See, you are a willing victim.")
From parents' point of view, the primary one admission system is in a mass and no one can afford not to apply to several schools, including a popular one like this school.
So no matter how bad the interview arrangement, it will not directly impact on the number of applicants in the short term.
When nearly everybody complains about the interview arrangement and it still does not impact on the number of applicants, someone may actually feel good. ("See, this is the 'best' school in HK and people will do whatever they can - even at the point of being tortured - to get in.")
Unfortunately, those who feel good are not the same people as whose who suffered from the whole inhuman treatment during the interview. |
