唔知有無”無關係，非基督徒”已經收到面試信？如果有，可否分享一下：

1 交表日期和時間
2 收信日期
3 面試日期

那些常"追看"呢篇文章o既讀者，好抱歉要你地成日睇我寫呢d幾近重複o既野，不過越遲收到信，就即係越大機會同已知o既面試撞期，我地真係幾憂慮，所以希望透過大家o既無私分享，令我和各位正在等信o既家長更容易掌握最新資料。

其實妳唔始擔心,當年我大囡考spcc都係冇關係冇宗教.
in就一定人人都有機會可以in o既,
不過,我想建議報哩間o既家長,唔好將spcc視為必入學校,
因為考到真係要靠運氣(如果冇宗教,又冇關係o既)
考唔到都算系正常. (當年我囡考,我都係咁同自己講~)

今次細囡考,可以算係有關係人士,但我仲驚過上一次.因為
對一個家庭來講,大家都希望可以將兄弟姐妹擺係同一間學校讀書,(所以哩.我都感恩囡囡今次係屬於70%o既有關係人士哩邊, 唔似當年大囡係30% o個堆)
但敗就係年年有關係人士咁多,考唔考到????

我都聽聞唔少有哥哥姐姐讀緊既都唔收,所以我仲擔心過妳~!

据琴日觀察,感覺以年齡來in的可能性大d,我小朋友係1月出世.

如果以舊年為例，就一定唔係 !!

因為囡囡舊年幾乎係最後嘅一批 1st in，但係囡囡有機會係今年全級小一，年紀最大嘅一位學生 !!

it is not by 月份.....dont think they will have the manpower to divide the applicants into so many categories. No need to be so nervous about the date though. I know many people who had interviews at the last few days and got in.

I'm not worried about the chance of acceptance, but just the possibility of clashing with other interviews.

Other parents may have the perception that the later the 1st int, the less likely their children will be accepted.  From people's comments in this topic, they should know that the perception is not accurate.

One of the suspicious points that some parents may consider is that even up to now, they have not sent out all interview notifications.  Considering that the submission deadline was 2 weeks ago, the long time frame suggests that the school must be using a time-consuming method to sort out the applications into different categories, which are virtually under lots of speculation - at least for this year.  We can use past experience as a reference of the basis of categorisation.

One of the schools we applied for took about 2 weeks to set the schedule of 2 rounds of 1st interview for 1,281 applications with an unknown basis.

just to share, for HKUGA we sent application via registered mail right on the deadline date. And it came out that we were in the last interview group of today. So i suppose at least for first part of first interview, scheduling is sequenced by the application time.

I don't think so. The form submission period is 3 July to 28 Aug and we submitted the form on 23 Aug. We were still allocated the time slot of 25 Sept pm. Another parent submitted the form earlier and was allocated 26 Sept am. I have also asked HKUGA twice and they reiterated that this year they did not allocate interview time based on date of submission of application form.

My application number is also 3XXX.
May I ask whether the kid will be interviewed by the Headmistress as mentioned on the interview letter.

Yes, it's mentioned on the 1st line of the letter. But I think everybody is getting the same standard letter, though it may turn out that the kids would be interviewed by someone else (e.g. Vice Headmistress or other teacher according to the discussion threads given by KaHeiBaBa). Btw, my big thanks to KaHeiBaBa for his kindness in locating the info for us!!!

Anyway, we will take it easy as our kid has been offered a place in a DSS last month. While thanking God for that, we would let Him choose the best-suited school for our kid.

Again, let's hope that all parents will find the most suitable school for their kids.

My son will have interview tomorrow.  We have no relationship but are Christian.  He's born in April.  If my memory doesn't fail me, we submitted the form on 9 Sep.

As far as I know, one of our friends will also interview tomorrow, born in Jan.  No relationship and not Christian.

We both live in Kowloon, though.

Several years ago when my elder one went to interview at SPCC on a Saturday morning, I recognised many of the candidates and they all came from Kowloon.

Except for those who have siblings studying in SPCC who would interview first (as far as I heard), I don't think they have hard and fast rules (at least consistent ones) governing the allocation of interview time.  As everyone will have a chance for 1st interview, why bother with the allocation criteria over which we have no control?

For me, the problem is not with the "chance" of 1st interview which every candidate has, but the possibility of clashing with interviews of other schools.
