其實我在某琴行睇過,度過個琴套濶32cm,老細話一般都係呢個濶度,但我部琴濶36cm.

It's me again. May I ask if you have any comments on Toyo piano? Some people said it's good but I could hardly find any comments on the web, could you give me more advise? Don't know why, I still have some hesitations on YAMAHA U1 due to its relatively light touch.....

My son has started to learn piano for 3 months and he likes it. I am thinking of changing to private tutoring and either rent a piano or buy a 2nd hand one.

kawai代理話是MIJ, 你地唔信.

Yamaha U series代理話是MIJ, 你地信

都是代理講,
都是在CATALOG上寫明,
2個品牌都有在國內生產其他系列.

點解問?
如果怕, 可以要求琴行在INVOICE上寫明MIJ OR REFUND

for 2nd Y or K, will be over 20yrs old or you can add more around 25000-30000, then will be much more choices.

Toyo Piano MFG Co. Ltd.本身是日本的琴廠. 旗下品牌有Apollo, Wagner, Ballindamm, Cristofori, Aizenaha. 相對於YAMAHA, KAWAI規模較細. 因為Y & K已經佔了日本鋼琴市場的70%, 剩餘30%由其他鋼琴佔有, TOYO只是其中一間.

你所講的TOYO是否國產? 因為如果是國產OEM代工, 最好是
1. 選擇大廠出品. 我不清楚TOYO APOLLO是由國內什麼廠代工, 不便發表意見.
2. 有原廠技術人員駐廠做QC.

既然有人建議你, 你可以請教佢以上問題, 並證明.

其他的我前面已經講過, 請你反查.

LIGHT TOUCH是日本琴的特性. YAMAHA由甚.

Thanks for your comments. Actually I don't know much about Toyo or Tokiwa, it's just that I heard people said staff from KK Music loves to recommends this brand.....

You mentioned that lighter touch is a characteristic of Japan made piano, beyond the sound difference, on the touch, would you prefer Kawai K series than Yamaha U series.

Sorry for this stupid questions, but still struggling between U1 or having a K5, K6 or K7.... and husband sharing different opinion ma....

本人不懂彈琴的, 都是問別人意見, 同上網看一看別人 comment, 因為打算和仔仔換琴, 所以留意這2隻牌子

因為有人說 kawai 不是 made in Japan (k-3 以上 level), 有人說 Yamaha U1 都不是 made in Japan, 所以帶點懷疑

聽說 made in Japan 的琴, 可以用上20年以上, made in China 好易就有小問題

Hi Ming,

How do you think about Kawai US-6X, produced at 1993 . What is the second hand price now. My daughter is using a old Korea piano Samick, and my friend want to sell me this Kawai piano. My daugher is 10 years old, she just got 2nd place on Grade 4 for HK School Music Festival. My current Korea piano is not suitable for her to practise, so I want to buy a second hand piano for her. Need your advice, my friend can sell me her US-6X at price 20K , I have check the piano, the current condition is good. Is it suitable for my daughter to learn until grade 8 or higher. pls kindly let me have your comment.

Now I am wondering to pay more money to buy a new Kawai K-series.
Is K-3 good enough to learn upto grade 8?
Someone asks me to buy a brand new piano such as toyama below 20000, that is enough to learn upto grade 5-6?
Can you give me some suggestion?
As I don't have this knowledge to choose.

I think Kawai K-3 is not enough to play upto grade 8 since it's not a high quality piano for performance.
You can compare the sound of tone and touch with K-6 and K-8 and you will find that it's much much better! (Especially K8as)
If you want to have a piano that can use over grade 8, you can consider the European one.
But all of it is my personal impression. Thanks!
