St. Catherine 收了讀羅福道上午班，但聖心只收了下午班，如何選擇？

Agree. If target DGJS, then SHCK is definitely not suitable to prepare. However, need to estimate the risk if failed for schools like DGJS. For other DSS which emphasize on better English preparation, St. Catherine's is still a better kindergarten.

SHCK on the other hand provide a safe path to its own primary school. If DGS is still the target, then work hard in primary school at SHCSPS/SHCS and can still get to DGS.

我舊年同一情況, 最終我選舉左Sacred Heart, 最主要原因係一條龍, 小學有backup, 唔駛到時又煩c! 不過我有寫信request轉上晝班, 亦都好好彩轉到, 你可以考慮下!

I'm also trying to choose between SC & SHCK. IanTsang, may I ask why you say SHCK is not suitable if the "dream" primary is DGJS - is SHCK's english really much weaker than SC? Any cases of SHCK's girls going to DGJS?

If your dream school is DGJS, it is better to study in SC for K1 and then shift to CCKG in K2.

Well if you compare a voucher-receiving kindergarten like SHCK to a non-voucher-receiving kindergarten like St. Catherine's, it is not a fair comparison as the later are not restricted by EDB to limit the amount of English teaching. And I must say St. Catherine's really done a good job on English training so it would be a better preparation for primary schools like DGJS.

Do remember that the competition is very high in 3 yr later!
I knew many girls will go to primary school in the coming September who are studying in SC(ie 2004 BB , the yr after SARS), also cant get an offer from famous primary school and now need to wait for lottery !
