I have received the interview letter from Victoria. However, we are asked to go to North Point Branch for the interview. We did not apply to this branch at all ( not my three choices). Does anyone has the same situation?

我都收到信, 係北角面試, 我嘅第一選擇係銅鑼灣, 第二係北角. 不過呢兩間學校都唔係太遠, 邊間都得.
我認爲, 今次不過係將面試地點定爲北角, 同你嘅申請入學地址無關.

我也是報九龍的，也是在北角面試，交表時已聽老師說過是在港島面試，因新校還未啟用。

Hi,

Same ar, I just returned the application form this morning and the staff said the interview is either held in North Point campus or Causeway Bay coz the Kowloon campus is still under construction wor. Anyone has any idea of the interview?? Please share.

First of all, we're led to sit down at a table. The teacher gives Garlin some toys (ball, lego & play foods) and watch how she coordinate big & small muscles and follow simple instruction, like "feed mommy the drumstick". Then the teacher asks us to move to another room, and play with some simple jisaw puzzle. Then the teacher gives Garlin a toy & sticker, and guides her to say Thank you. Garlin can't speak yet at that time, but she makes a 請請 sign after I show her.

The interview is like a play time. No need to prepare really. Relax & be yourself. I even share with the teacher that Garlin can be pretty shy sometimes. I think if a school cannot accept "weakness", it's not a good school for Garlin anyway. Garlin is now going to Victoria Nursery, and is very happy about her school life.

How's everyone do in today's interview?
I am a bit upset as my son is not in a good mood this morning. He refuses to speak anything and just plays the toys.

我都係6/11見，我報了英文和廣東話班，所以首先就有個英文人（ａｂｃ）上前跟他玩一輪，又問我平時有沒有跟他說英文，我老實答沒有，不過他懂一些英文單字。
然後廣東話老師突然殺入，我個仔都有ｄ驚，即時啞了。個老師都算有耐性，肯等我同佢玩，聽佢講嘢。
我甚至帶了一本他最喜歡的書去，逗他說話。老師都ｏｋ。
總括一句，個仔表現不算好（他是大仔，理應識講好多嘢），但我兩公婆都很喜歡維記，因老師看來十分專業。
其實有冇阿媽分享吓，間學校好唔好呢？在ｂｋ這方面討論似乎不多。

我都唔滿意仔仔昨日面試嘅表現呀.

昨日9:00am先去第一間學校面試,仔仔表現幾好. 點知11:00維多利亞面試時,就有小小扭計,可能前一晚太夜瞓,又早起,有啲眼瞓. 老師問佢嘢, 都唔答, 只係自己玩玩具. 我好後悔自己冇引導佢回答, 好擔心今次面試通唔過, 唔開心, 因爲我幾中意呢間學校, 好想仔仔可以入到.

老實講, 我唔知呢間學校好唔好, 因我囡囡仲細. 但係呢間野就係正我屋企樓下, 我日日同囡囡散步都見唔少學生返學放學, 大部份學生都係由工人同C機接送, 聽佢地講野就知呢間係有$人學校, 好似話學費都唔平. 同埋有好多活動攪, 好似中秋同岩岩既halloween都好好玩咁. 我個friend個囡唔係佢學生, 但係有朋友囡囡係佢學生, 都可以請埋佢去玩. 呢方面我覺得幾好. 但另方面又聽過話佢有好多慕捐, 會叫學生拿捐$form回家叫家長捐$, 如果唔捐可能個囝囡會比人笑都唔定. 所以你地自己衡量下囉~

My kid is currently studying Victoria K3. It's a very good Kindergarten. Kids are happy to go to school & learn from the interesting activities. Although the school fee is relatively expensive, you pay for what you 've got. They are not pushing parents to donate money to Unicef (helloween). Many people think that the school policy trends to be more commercial (parent-orienated). Anyway, It provides very good and clean learning environment for kids, and no hustle for parents. You don't have to worry about your kid 's English. Instead, you have to pay more attention on kid's Chinese development.

Same here, my daughter has also apply the Nusery class, but she's only around 11 months now. Apparently she will be joining the Toddler class if succeed. Really don't know what they would ask.

Any mamas has experienced the N1 interview? Please share, thanks!

N1's interview is very basic. My girl is very active and even refused to sit down properly for the interview (probably she was attracted by the slippery slide at the playground area). The English teacher who interviewed us proposed to do the interview at the playground, which I was very amazed. At the playground, she asked me questions about who looked after my girl during daytime, her character and other simple questions. Finally, my girl was accepted. However, my girl did behave ok by saying goodbye and thank you to all the teachers.

It helps a lot, but now I'm a bit worry now.

If she ever going to get a letter for interview, how on earth can she manage to play these advance things since she'll be probably 13 months by then, I doubt it if she can even walk by then.

But anyway, thanks for sharing.

Oh, now I see your concern. Some schools do have some preference for "big" girls and boys as they are easier to teach and manage. My girl was over 1.5 years old when she had the interview. However, take it easy la! Good luck!

May I ask why everyone seems to so dislike pm class??

Well... actually... I've applied for pm class cos my baby always sleep late therefore wakes up pretty late in the morn...
