I'm not sure, I thought there is a session for half-day students and I don't expect half-day students need to wait for a few hours. Anyway, check with the teachers and they don't offer noon sessions, I'll check the days.
I heard from K3 parents that the course are pretty good.

I talked to Miss Lai this morning. She said the number of teachers supporting noon session is less. Yet, if there are some more parents requesting for noon session, they will consider. I told her I would prefer noon session also. Wait & see what they can do.

Obviously, it's not convenient for half-day students to go back home and then back to school again, esp. students that live far away. Maybe the teachers will make some arrangement later.

Hi all,

Miss Lai called me this afternoon and asked if Hei Ching is interested to join the noon session. I say 'yes' and let's see if they can arrange an extra noon session later.

No special plan for Preston. I'd rather he stays at home. The flu is getting quite bad these days, quite scary. I called the school to see if the school has any contingency plan for the flu season. They only said they'll clean more often but not to open the windows. Anyway, hope the school is more alert on this issue.

Dear moms,
Take care the kids to prevent from the terrible flu.Wash more hands and check their body temp daily. If they decrease general condition, more alert them. Ka kA got flu last week and fever to 40 degree.She got well soon now.

I have night-shift this month.Ka Ka is very emotion in this month. This make me headache. I willt forgive the night-shift in the coming month.

I did learn from Davin that Ka Ka was absent from school last week.

Dear All

I don't know if your kid has got the same condition. These days have been warmer & Davin sweated a lot during the first two hours of sleep at night. I have to clean his sweat from time to time so that he does not get cold the next morning. The point is if his clothes or pillow get wet when the kid cools down he will feel cold. I learnt from a doctor who shared this in a radio program.

Does anyone plan to buy 升小獵校攻略 ?

thanks for sharing. i've read the same kind of book published by ming pao & eugene group & i also don't think they are that useful. info covered in these two books are more or less the same.

Preston also sweat a lot and I need to dry him up so he won't catch a cold at night. I remove the thick blanket tonight, hope it's better.

I also read some of these books, only very brief info, just give you the basic stuff. It's more useful to ask parents and exchange info. between parents, you'll probably know more. More than half of the info from the book you don't need coz you only apply for a few schools and the rest are useless. I think there are many good schools but it's not easy to find 'the one' that is suitable for your kids. Have you asked Miss Lai about schools she thinks that's suitable for your kids?

I haven't been thinking of asking the teacher about suitable school. Then I guess you might have asked. I think Preston can fits into traditional school as well as int'l school.

It's a good idea to ask the teacher for comment. If I have time, I will do so.

Preston also said he's bored at home. It's quite sudden and I'm totally not prepared that I have no food at home (coz my maid can't go to the market).

Actually, Miss Lai said Preston is not suitable for traditional schools (those very traditional), that's why I'm thinking of schools like CKY. You may ask the teachers for comments coz the teachers have more idea on thier abilities and stregth.

Davin hasn't mentioned about feeling bored yet.  Since I will be on leave next Monday, I may take him for outdoor activity (it depends).

I went back to school this morning to get the stuff & talked to Miss Lai for quite a while.  Miss Lai also said that Davin would not fully develop his abilities & strenghts studying in traditional school.  She also mentioned about some popular schools & the comments from the parents.  It was useful.  Thanks for your advice of suggesting me talking to the teacher.

My only worry in those schools like CKY & 陳守仁... is that they don't have linkage to sec. schools.

Doris, do you have any idea about the sec school allocation from CKY & 陳守仁 ?

Dear moms,
What does your son do at home during this long holidays? We went to the flower show at Victoria Park yesterday coz we're off. However, it may rain this weekend! :cry:

Miss Lai is so nice that she called me and see if the kid is fine at home. I told her that Preston almost finished his homework already.

Hi all,

I also received phone call from Miss Lai this morning. It's so nice that they can arrange the phone follow-up. Even though I have two kids at home, they both feel sad because most ECA also suspended due to the serious flu. Anyway, maybe I'll arrange some outdoor activities for my kids during Easter and hope the class will resume normal on 31 Mar.
