Dear Ching Ching Father,

Thanks very much for your valuable information.

1.  For the travelling distance, St. Stephen's Girls is a little bit closer.  Both have to take the school bus anyway.

2.  $$$ is not a very big problem but everybody suggest me to use that money for her to attend some extra English courses outside the school because St. Stephen's Girls is a Chinese Primary School but is a English Secondary School, everybody will let their children to attend some extra English courses outside the school.  That's why the English standard is very high at St. Stephen's Girls.

3.  I am really not sure how my daughter will be when she is at P5 or P6.

4 & 5.  Last Saturday is St. Stephen's Girls Kindergarten Graduation Day.  So I went there with my daughter.  She said she likes both school.  She got a best friend at St. Stephen's Girls but she will promote to P2 in September.  Her best friend's mother said that she enjoys studying at St. Stephen's Girls very much and has no pressure at all but everybody will let their children to take extra English Courses besides the school.

I know that both are good schools and because I am a working mother, I don't have so much time to study with my daughter and I know that St. Paul's Convent has quite a lot of homeworks, dictations, tests, etc. and St. Stephen's for P1 & P2 is not so difficult but I just concerning about P6 to F1.

Thanks for your valuable opinion!!!

We have a graduation dinner last Saturday and I talked to some parents about St. Paul's Convent Primary because their elder daughters are studying there and you are right, St. Paul's just need to exam in Chinese, English and Maths.

St. Paul's 現時中學巳轉為直資, 只要中英數三科pass就可以直上中一。以前要B以上先可以入噃中學, 而家只要pass 就OK!  所以中學相比以前遜色了。所以有D家長都擔心這個問題。

But anyway, 恭喜你個女考倒入St. Paul's Kindergarten.  我有幾個朋友啲女今年都考唔倒, even 有家姐讀緊都入唔倒, 可想而知 how smart your daughter is!!!

The deadline for my decision will be on the 14th.  That day is my daughter's graduation day and St. Paul's needs to register on that day too.  I asked my daughter a few time on what she wants, she always said St. Stephen's Girls because she has a best friend there (Will promote to P2 in coming September) and she was so happy to study there and have no pressure at all.  所以我都唔知可唔可以作準。

知晤知除了英文課本外其他的科目是用英文還是用中文的.英文是用什麼出版社的?

Garfield,

P5 & P6 英文科之出版社是 Ling King (P6 & Secondary1) , P1 to P4 之出版社是Oxford (P1 to P4)。
除了中文科、普通話及聖經，其餘都是英文。
