Dear Rachelwu,

I remember SPK will interview all applicants who are at least 2 years 8 months old but younger than 4 years old (in Sept of the year K1), so don't worry.

my girl is big girl, Feb 04, you can try this year, maybe your girl is smart enough to pass the interview. Some of my friend are in Sept & Oct, still accepted by SPK. They are now in K1. so don't worry, try your best.

Hi Golfland,

Thanks a lot!!  I will try this year.
But my daughter is a bit shy...  She will attend Aug class in Victoria.. And have another offer in KCS...
Do you think I just study in Victoria and then apply for SPK??  If you can just advise me would be better..  Then I will discuss with my husband....

how old is your girl now? will she in K1 this Sept?
if you really want to try SPK, you can try again next year. but if your girl is doing well in victoria, just let her to continue in victoria. the style of these two school are different.

My younger daughter has been in the pre-nursery class of Victoria Kindergarten since 2 years old and elder daughter had been in VK since 2.5 years old.

I think the most effective way of learning language is practice. Kids learn more when they have chance to communicate with more people.  So I think I made the right decision to let them join VK Pre-nursery before enter SPK.
