I don't know if it is a good kinder but I've only heard that the English level of CCKG is very high and it has a very close relationship with DBS/DPS/DGS.

Someone told me that 30 out of 42 CCKG boys were admitted by DBSPD in 2004 and over 30 out of 42 girls were admitted by DGJC last year! But, some BK parents said the performance of boys last year was not so good, just about 15 boys got the offers!

Well maybe the letters will arrive tomorrow? Good or bad, I want to know soon and get this suspense over and done with.

If it is good news, then of course we are happy to be part of the priviledged. But being the lucky few comes with a price and the start of pressure time. If my son cannot handle the competition, maybe we are about to ruin his primary school life.

So if it is bad news, then it is meant to be. We will welcome God's decision and move on with what we have been given. Maybe that way, the whole family will be happier, at least for the next 6 years.

I much rather they let me know sooner, instead of always thinking about it.  I won't have the mood during X'mas.

3000 families - that many?  There are only 300  families for boys waiting for results. Are there 2700 families for the girls?

For the boys, 150 will be accepted, plus some on waiting list (wonder how many).  So,  I suppose over half of the families will have a happy x'mas?

Dear All,

You all must have news before Christmas. This is the usual practise.

If you are nervous, you can call the school and mention the boy's application number and they may tell you the result because I did that in my son's year and have the good news immediately. I totally understand how difficult to WAIT.

Thanks for your suggestion and good luck, you must be very confident in getting good news. Which year is your son in now? How does he like the school life?

If they are sending out the results today or tomorrow, I think I can wait 2 more days. I'll call if I don't receive any news by Thurs.

I dare not do so cuz it's too excited for me to get the result over the phone! I'd rather wait for 1 to 2 days more!

I just called the school this morning. It said that all letters will be distributed today.

So, I reckoned the letters will reach us tomorrow or the day after.

My son is in P.2 now. He enjoys his life there so much and therefore getting fatter and fatter. He doesn't realise too much from the pressure. He is a happy boy but of course, his performance still need imrpovement.

yes, you can call later. This is just our experience in our year. The staff get used to that, I think. They are very nice.

I can't see your good immediately because I will be away from Hong Kong for several days. Anyway, good luck !
