搵出St. Cat. 唔收你個小朋友o既原因：

本人的女兒於 St. Cat 面試時，表現比想像中好，玩玩具時並無搶玩具，答老師問題亦全部答對，而且快夾準! 拎o左禮品亦即講"多謝"。本來無乜信心o既我亦覺小女有o的機會，結果只係得下午班o既waiting list...  :cry:  :cry:  , 我覺得St. Cat 收其他表現更好o既小朋友梗係無可口非，但係我發現有o的BK member 話佢o既小朋友當時表現唔係咁好，又唔答問題，結果都收o左，我就覺得好奇怪。自問出身普通，我諗最大o既原因係我個女無背景所以唔收啦! 其實我都幾想知收o既小朋友o既父母係咪要有o的家底先得呢？不過我諗收o左o既家長都唔會肯講下佢地o既o野，不如我地試下寫低我地自己o既小小資料睇下會唔會得出一個結論，知道 St. Cat 點解唔收我地o既小朋友？如果得出o既結論係唔收無家低o既小朋友，我諗入唔到St. Cat都係一件好事，免得到時入o左重覺得唔適合自己同個女，係咪？
首先自我爆料：-
1) 大定細：大女，年頭出世。
2) 職業：父親公務員，母親家庭主婦。
3) 家長學校：雙親均讀新界不知名小學。
     (如果家長讀名校，將來兒女很大機會升讀名校，對St.Cat 的名氣幫助很大。)
4) 現居：新界私人樓宇。
5) 只報讀上午校。
結果：下午班o既waiting list

希望大家寫出小小資料，一齊搵出自己兒女被拒o既原因。

Don't be upset. I know St Catherine also concern the manner of parent. Whether you can show you are geniue love their school. I tell them I only choose their school but not apply for other kindergarten. And I also tell them how I norish my kid.

My friend's kid who is very rich but were also in waiting list.

Or you can send letter to the school to beg a seat. It really work!

Hello,

My daughter also got the St Cat AM Assex but not because we are rich people (only normal people like you and me) but just guess 2 things:

1.) Your home is a bit far away (ours are in Kln City area)
2.) None of u are from famous primary school.

I heard fm my friend said if u did not join their school bus will fail, I also chose not join their school bus in the application form, but my daughter done well in the interview, finally on waiting list

This is not true.  My elder son is studying in St. Cat. now and half of the class don't take school bus.

Many factors may count, but I guess the most important one is the chance of getting into a so-called famous primary school (as a result of Dad/Mum and siblings).

Sorry, I can't recall we need to put in which primary school did we come from. I remember the application form need the education background for parents. But did they specifically ask for primary schools. But  I did come from a famous girl school. But I am not rich, I am only a typical employees.

My son was accepted pm session despite that I only apply for am session.

I don't think the background of the parent is the main concern when consdering the applicants. My husband think that since SC usually offer 600-700 seats, so they no need to accept all student with good background. What they need is to accept certain proportion of students that have good backgrounds that can help them to enter famous primary schools and help SC to build a good image. For the rest of the students, SC can randomly choose some that has good perfomance during interview and that is. No special background is needed. Don't know if his guess is correct or not.

我答有朋友o既兒女係度讀過都幾好，同埋我希望我個女可以早o的學好英文，打好基礎；答2：我想女兒能快樂地成長。(P.S: 我答兩條問題時，未完全講O西，重有o野想講，已經被佢打斷o左，話：得ｏ架啦，唔該ｏ西！)
不過，我覺得答o既時候佢唔係好care 同好敷衍邏，如果佢咁care，我覺得佢可以問多o的邏o野邏。

The interview question is : what do you want from SC? My answer is to build up confidence and social skills of my son.

The second question is : How do you spend time with your kid? My answer is : Go to the park, play games and reading books.

我同老公都唔係出名小學畢業, 我家住荃灣區, 我囡囡算係細女(0409), 但佢地收佢am class. 其實我覺得係靠彩數多, 因為主觀成份較多. 唔好因為咁而唔開心, 你滿意你寶貝的表現咪得law.  
教養孩童,使他走當行的道, 就是到老, 他也不偏離!

maybe it depends on which interviewer. My interviewer did not interrupt me. I can present all my points to her. But your speech need to be attractive. Too boring speech won't attact the interviewer. Image you are the interviewer, all the parent's answer is more or less the same. So how you present the point is also important!

But my baby can answer their question in English, telling her the colors of the block (which was not needed by interviewer), and doing all the test correctly in Putonghua test and even sing a putonghua song with gesture!(which was not needed by interviewer). And waving Goodbye to all the teachers all around. So all the teacher said she was a very smart girl. Even when we left the gate, the teacher asked me whether I had interview for 30minutes. I answer her: nearly 30 minutes.

I was accept in AM session, international class and the campus was what I choose in the application form.

So I was very satisfy with them and my baby.

My boy is accepted by SC pm school. No special. There are many many candidates for interview. I think the teachers get tired and it's diffcult to show special care. Take it easy!

我諗好多小朋友都可答晒D問題,而家長所答既答案又大同小異.我覺得家長有否表現到對自已小朋友的關愛是很重要的一環,老師會加分的. My girl is accepted in pm class.

cj177916, nice to meet you. Will you accept the offer,i.e. study in 2007? My boy is accepted as the pm school of English+Mandarin.
