剛剛睇緊新收到的English cycle plan，和下一次默書的內容。又研究緊在British Council Bookshop買回來的Fun for Flyers一書。做緊Flyers和宣小課程的對照。

不過，開始眼訓。唯有明天繼續。

求學是不是求分數？和囝囝一起做了一篇「每日一篇」後，令到我覺得要仔細反思。

題目如下：

I am a P1 student. I am in class 1B. Our (1) is room 107. At morning break, we play in the (2). After morning classes, we eat lunch in the (3). I have many friends and I like to play and learn, So, I enjoy going to school.

A. canteen
B. playground
C. classroom

題目看起來很簡單，三題的答案應分別是 (1) C, (2) B 和 (3) A。

但問題出在第三條，囝囝所選的答案是 C，他也很肯定的跟我說他是在學校自己的課室內吃午餐。可是我知道他在分數排行榜已落後了，很想發力追上其他同學，只好告訴他正確的答案應該是『餐廳』，而不是『課室』，但因香港地方狹小，一般小學都沒有專門用膳的餐廳。他聽了好像不懂，既然小學沒有餐廳，那文中的小一學生在課室內吃午餐為什麼不是正確的答案？我不是也是天天這樣做的嗎？囝囝最後沒有堅持，選擇了得分的答案。

這事在我心裡掙扎了幾天。我勸孩子不去堅持他覺得是理所當然的答案，動搖了他的自信。我做錯了嗎？分數是真的那麼重要嗎？

各位小一的家長，如果重陽節當天你也有和小朋友一起參與這篇「每日一篇」，你是否也曾面對這進退兩難的困境？

Luckily, my son did not have this query as he knew he could only use the answer once and selected the most appropriate one (as you cannot use canteen in other sentences)

But I do share your views on the difficulties in explaining to him for some confusing answers. Like his Chinese test paper, I do find some of his answers are not totally wrong, just not the best one per the teacher :cry:

I totally agree what you said. I explain the same to my son on that day.
求學是不是求分數, in theory it is correct. But it is quite difficult to do.

張大頭相在假期時已出現過, 但囡囡怕羞, 所以不足半小時已收回. 昨天見妳又 show 二個寶貝女的大頭相, 於是趁她不知道 ......

應該不是, 因為發生咁大件事囡囡會第一時間同我講, 但是沒有聽過 ...... 紅磡好似有二條路線, 其一是經海逸-->黃埔吉之島"大家樂", 然後就回校. 另一是經黃埔舊永安 -->半島. 囡囡是前邊個條校車線, 相同嗎

我從來都沒有為囡囡貼題目, 因為覺得測驗範圍不算太多, 亦希望囡囡明白哂課文內容的意思便能舉一反三.

可能自己讀書時是貼題目去考試的, 因為次次都貼不中, 所以成績不是太理想, 或許囡囡高中後才會用呢個方法.

在測驗前我將去年的測驗卷給囡囡做, 她幾乎科科都滿分, 所以測驗分數真的不能代表 ......

我和您都有相同的情形產生, 有時候兒子會堅持自見,我都會讓他選擇他的答案,等結果批改是錯的之後,我才會再告訴仔一次為何答案是如此,雖然他會口頭上接受,但我仍可以感受到他內心有一種的困惑存在, 在他們小小的年紀來看事情, 會認為實際的情形就是正確的答案,為何是錯的呢?一但價值觀有了矛盾產生,孩子的自信心自然會受到動搖, 那麼您的取捨就很重要了. ( 還好我比較可以接受到他在排行榜上的参與而不是真正的排名 )

~ 我覺得此乃好時機灌輸多方面的知識知小朋友, 答案可以多面睇的, 不是自己經歷的事情便等同其他人都是一樣, 可以入 canteen 食午飯的小朋友應該是有寄宿的學校, 在香港不是太普及, 因為地方太細, 如果在外國, 便應該比較普及些.

~ 囡囡很多時會留意新聞版, 經常問我發生什麼事 ? 如果唔係太暴力的新聞, 都會同佢講吓外面的世界與她的世界有什麼不同, 因為現今一代太過受保護, 我擔心長大後才知道世界是如此險惡, 會不能接受及逃避, 而家每天講 D, 可以令佢知道幸福唔係必然的.

DBS Garden Fete 好像不是向外人公開的？真的可以摸入去食餐 lunch buffet 嗎？

Per headmaster's message "

lease come to the DBS School Fete on Sunday, 5 November 2006 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with your friends and relatives. Enjoy the buffet lunch in the Dining Rooms at $100 per adult & $80 per child. The P.T.A. Café in the School Hall is a must for parents and students. Of course, you shouldn’t miss all the wonderful class stalls, the DSOBA stall, the Headmaster’s stall, the teachers’ stalls, the Primary Division’s stalls and the P.T.A. counters", I think you can join it
but not sure for lunch buffet.

各位三年級家長, 請問可否幫我一個忙? 囡囡仍欠三本英文故事書未買到, 去年宣小二是有用的, 如找到, 請賣比我

1/ I can be anything
2/ Somewhere in the World
3/ In the playground

** 因為二年級書本有部份是買舊書, 學校要求一批 12 本全要, 不能斬件買, 聽聞今年是由校長親自與外國直接訂購, 所以 ...... 而我又唔想去影印, 但 ...... 如果 ...... 最後 ...... 都要做 ...... 違法 ......

這兩本書我都有，但已是又殘又爛。我個女的reader用完之後，都會變成仔仔的reader，而仔仔的破壞力驚人。他出生後，屋企已經換左兩部電腦、電視、DVD機、室內電話、家佣電話、電腦鍵盤、電腦老鼠.....

總之，妳會想象唔到本書爛成點。如果搵唔到其他家長幫忙，先搵我。用膠紙黏番，應該重用得，不過帶返學，幾肉酸。

ha-ha .... 最緊要是本書沒有你寶貝仔的 "口水", 因為囡囡抵抗力好差 , 我擔心未上堂她又病倒

我個女同我講佢搭半島豪庭個條紅磡線校巴, 我想和你囡囡應該不同車了...嘻嘻...

我都有 "Somewhere in the world", 在暑假期間買書比你嘅時候都有比你睇過, 本書都可以話幾新, 但是小女已將課後練習全做完, 如你有需要, 可 pm 我...

另外, "In the playground" 應該係無, 因上年本關於公園嘅 reader 係 "Have fun in the park"....

Do you think it is the book that I pass to your friend??? If it is, it should be used on my daughter's P1 year. So the current P3 students should study that in P1. Check around!
