What are they going to quiz?  For me, I just asked my girl questions about the topic, and spell some of the words.  As long as she understands the topics (mostly is the grammar), then she should able to handle the quiz.  

For example, if the quiz is about : this is / these are.  Then you just need to make sure that your girl understand when to use this is and when to use these are.  Most important is remind them to use the capital letter on names & beginning of sentence.

數字的寫法問題不大.  So far, 我大囡都不是照足寫都冇問題.  

中文方面就比較困難. 我都想知有何妙法!  目前我用以下方法:

1. 比較複雜的筆劃就要教他們正確的筆順.  最好是在她未開始寫就先教, 這樣印象比較清楚.
2. 可以拆字的會教佢拆字.  例如: 睡= 目+垂.  目=眼睛. 眼皮太倦垂下來就是睡覺的睡.  
3. 我也會用字典叫亞女睇清楚些. 順便教埋佢怎樣查那個字 : 部首是什麼? 餘下多少筆劃?  在數筆劃時就可以加強對那個字的記憶. 我本字典有筆順, 所以會睇埋.  

經過查字典這個複雜的程序所得的效果最好, 不過比較費時.  所以我是某些字才會用這個方法.

我諗靈活多變是最好的方法. 你多些摸索各種方法, 按需要調整合適的吧.
