Surely more than 4xx, could be around 5xx or 6xx.

Does anyone know whether the 1st interviews are scheduled by the order of the application number, so if you apply early, you get interviewed earlier?

My son's classmate submitted the application on Jan 25 afternoon, his application no is 4xx, he hasn't received the call as well.  You may consider to call the school tmr & check, they told me they would interview all candidates when I submitted the applications.

My son has finished the interview on Fri, the interview just took around 5 mins & the teacher only asked very simple question during the interview.  

I don't understand how the school can judge the candidate within such a short period of time for so many candidates?

Are they judging from the ranking and the student's achievement in the portfolio more than the interview performance, or they have the preferred list already?  Any parents who have gone through the process previous years can share?

我諗主要考慮學業成績, 獎項, 操行同課外活動, 應該唔會睇次第, 因為未到截止日期已經開始面試, 面試只係想睇吓考生嘅中英文水準達唔達標。另我知已經有人接到2nd in嘅通知。

如果你個仔考全級頭幾名,或有特異功能都應好大機會!咁你個仔全級考第幾, 有冇特異功能?

我個仔舊年考咗10分鐘, 睇吓我前面嘅留言就知...

Do you know when the 2nd interview is arranged and about how many applicants will be invited for the 2nd interview (according to your past experience)?

Seems that the 2nd interview may be earlier than that of some DSS schools (e.g Ying Wa, St. Paul Co-ed, etc.)

If most of the 2nd interview candidates will be accepted, I think the 2nd interview list will be around 80 students as they only have 70 seats available.

My son's classmate has been scheduled for 1st interview this evening, he submitted application on last day afternoon, this implies 1st round interview will be completed by today or tmr.
