My son is in KMK1 now. My son started N1 in K1 and we found that KM is a very good school. The learning atmosphere and environment are very nice. Many KM students enjoy going to school very much. Though the curriculum is not very easy and workload is  not very light, it is not difficult for both parents and kids. Kids are trained with good academic discipline. My son does homework by himself.  During long holidays, he asks me for homework.

KM stresses on Eng, Maths and Chi at the same time. I think my son's foundation in these 3 subjects is quite good. Also, we like the small teacher-student ratio in KM. THere are only 21 kids in my son's class but there are 2 teachers. It is easier for teachers to know their progress made.  Sometimes the teacher may call me when my son has made progress or mistakes in school.

When compared with other KG, KM may not be very big. Yet, I think it is small but full of warmth.

do u think that any chances of changing from am to pm class?  the teacher just ask me to fax a letter and will confirm on 30th june

I think you can try to write them a letter to request for changing fm AM to PM.  I think it should still has chance coz there may have people who give up the seat even they had paid the 留位費

i called the school and they said they'll send the letters this friday, hopefully we'll receive the letters on saturday

they said that the parent meeting will be held in August, the letter is about the summer course and there'll be another registration day in July

I think this depends on the kid's personality and how the parents response. You have a very good kid and are being a very mama to take care of the child. Can I ask if you are a full-time mama? I hear all the time that full-time mama to take care of kid who is better one in general.

my son is in am class. I cannot tell if kids' English is better in PM class or not as I cannot make a comparison. The difference is that a NET stays with am class for 1 hour every day while she stays with PM class for the whole 3 hours.

Actually, in K3, all kids need to attend int'l class.

Kids need to bring snacks to school and there is unlimited supply of water in school.

I am not a full-time mom. My son usually does homework before I return home. At first, I was quite surprised when my son asked me to let him do homework by himself on the phone. My maid is an Indonesian who doesn't know Eng or Chi. So she cannot explain how to do homework to my son. I asked my son if he knew how to do the homework. He told me that the teachers had explained to him in school. When I returned home, I found that he could finish his homwork well. I also asked him why he wanted to do homework before I came home. He answered me that his teachers said it was their responsibility to do homework. That's why he does homework by himself.

Once I met another parent of the same class. We did talk about doing homework. Her son also does homework by himself and likes doing homework.  His mom also thinks KM can teach kids with good discipline.

If the KG your kid attends now is very good, why bother a change? Actually, the curriculum of each KG is very similar. I know some kids need to spend a lot of time travelling to and fro school. I think they are very poor!
