    好開心見到TSL嘅家長咁nice，見我新嚟都咁照顧。多謝大家嘅回覆，睇起嚟以我住屯門咁遠，校車嘅上落時間都已經好好啦，只喺擔心我『老細』唔合作，做嘢慢吞吞啫，但想起冬天要6點幾起床，真喺好『有壓力』架！ :

    屯門間小學都無一條龍中學，是用故事書教學法，30人一班，同時有兩個老師上課，一個中國人，一個外藉老師。只辦了一年小一，口碑亦好壞參半，聽講話外藉教師的資歷嘛嘛。 最好就喺好近，過條馬路就到，而且小一已開始用普通話教中文。

    想就梗想讀出面啲名中學啦，但出面嘅競爭好大，怕只是賠了夫人又折兵，白花了坐車的時間。

    其實我對TSL的校網也不是太清楚，見以往派位都好似幾散。今年油尖旺區減少了灣仔升英中學額，對TSL的派位結果有沒有影響呢？你哋收唔收到消息呀？  另外，是否明年開始改制，以今年中一分班試的成績來厘定小學各Band的%，各位是否覺得這樣對TSL的派位有利呢?

你講得好啱，“有時決定一件事只是一念之差”。可能選校是沒有對與錯之分，只是依當時一剎那的想法去決定。我都有問囡囡，可惜她竟說兩間都唔好，可能是俾我影響咗！

其實諗深一層，長跑比賽只是剛起步，日後還有漫長的路要和我哋嘅仔囡一齊跑，無論起點在哪裏，只要方向正確，終可跑到我們嘅目標。

今年成績比舊年好咗!tsl 學生多數係靠自行收生果轉入,而唔係單靠搞珠,咁當然都有人派得唔好啦.

其中以我所知自行收生大約如下:

St Paul co-ed 4
瑪莉曼 7 (叩門1個成功)
喇沙 4
德望 1-2

我都有咁諗過，但真喺唔想再俾呢件事困擾住，想俾一個清淅的答案囡囡，等佢對學校建立多啲歸屬感。

好感激moyan肯在半夜同我傾咁耐，多謝您同Chu Chu, Tingmum,Bluestar都俾咗好多資料同意見我。見到你哋都做得到，我決定俾囡囡試吓，或者佢都可以呢！如果真係頂唔住，我諗都可以在屯門揾到學校嘅，話哂tsl都有啲名氣。

我個囡會訂飯，學校最吸引佢係Campus TV 食 Lunch 果段，我諗啲餐都唔錯。

帶飯, but maid has to get up around 5:30am daily   to cook the rice !!, the dish(es) are usually prepared / semi-prepared the previous night.
Most kids 訂飯.
There will be teacher(s) / parent volunteer(s) to supervise, kids need to show lunch box to them for agreement before they can stop eating, usually kids are required to finish their vegetables and most of their lunch box.  Remember to bring a placemat on Mondays, take home to wash on Fridays.

我數過每班約38人，每班8位外籍學生，選校服公司質地時，有位日本太太也在摸質地，如果佢囡囡同我囡囡同班就好！

Not sure about quality of other suppliers.

PE is double lesson.  Only 1 day / week.
Unless you join some ECA sports activities after school / Sat, otherwise 1 set of PE uniform will be enough.
Swimming on alternate weeks, acc to schedule issued by school later.  RED swimming cap.  (Swimming for girls and PE for boys for one week; PE for girls and swimming for boys the next week.)  Kids change inside changing room on G/F.  (Need to teach them how to shower esp after swimming, and to change out of / into uniform themselves.  Quite difficult for P1 kids.)
Can also buy short-sleeves white shirt anywhere.  School badge (to be sewn on pocket) also available from school's Gen Off, 1/F.
White shoes for summer (NOT PE shoes), black shoes for winter.
Air-con in classrooms, with windows slightly opened.
If kid's seat is right under air-con outlet ==> cold.
Otherwise may not need to wear jacket every day.

May I seek some good advice from you?

1) Is there any air-con. inside the changing room?
If yes, will the kids catch cold easily when they take the shower and then get change by themselves?

2) Is there any school janitor looking after the kids inside the changing room?

3) Do we have to bring a lot of stuff to school if there is swimming lesson on that day?

4) For girls with long hair, will they catch cold easily again if they cannot dry their hair thoroughly/naturally?

Better ask Tingmum - her girl's hair is definitely longer than my piglet's

1.  No air con in the changing room.
Shower is right outside the swimming pool itself, in swimming pool area.  Then kids walk over from swimming pool back to changing room.
Kids are asked to bring a towel (to wipe dry), and either use same towel or a big t-shirt between shower and changing room.

2.  No.  Nobody.  Not even outside the door.
The swimming teacher is a Mr. xxx.
1 class each of P1 and P2 in same PE lesson.
So really not much time in the water.

3.  Yes an extra bag.
Big towel, big t-shirt (optional), small towel (optional), slippers (optional), swim suit, swim cap.

p.s. goggles !!

4.  No idea, pls ask mums of girls.
You still have 2m to teach her to dry her hair.
Must shower after swimming, high chlorine level.

Hopefully it will not be too cold for the kids when there is 8:30 a.m. swimming lesson in winter.

warm water pool,
no swimming from Dec to early Apr
If under 18oC, parents can decide whether or not to let their kids swim that day.

Don't worry too much, school won't aim to make kids sick.  :wink:
