1. There are 8 classes in primary one.  Each class has around 40 students, i.e. 8x40=320.
2. St. Jo Primary is a subsidised school.  All 320 seats will be offered for application under the existing EMB distribution system, i.e. 50% in round one (allocated to highest marks); 50% in round two (lucky draw).
3. Historial statistic for admission by St. Jo Primary does not lie.  The success rate is very very high.
4. The primary school offers about 320 spaces but at the end will keep certain spaces from P1 repeaters and drop-out applicants to DSS/private schools.  Those spaces will be assigned at the school's own discretion to the kindergarten students.

How about SPK ? I want to ask which method is better to admit the SPK ? start from N1? It is too many SPK primary & kindergarden. Which one is the good one or related? Which one can studies from N1 and then to K1 and then to Primary? As I know , this is the better method but too many spk school. Is it difficult to n1? Can someone to tell me? Thank You

絕對唔可以咁留,因受政府制度影响, lelu既計法係正確的,但我都聽到將來st joe 小學會cut班,咁少左留班位,會影响左佢地幼稚園生叩門既機會..........

今年K3一班約27人，但2006年K2只有20人一班(因共收了80人)。 不知縮減學生是否與傳聞有關。

Thanks for your sharing and I think ur point 3 is really true that's why still so many parent hope their boy study in St. Jo kinder since the school is old & tradition.

I also think girl is more choice than boy. So not many choice for us. SPK is another good choice,
(exclude the primary school fee is high, since St.Jo is a subsidised school)

有家長都係咁同我講..........應該有關,唔係佢地幼稚園有乜咁吸引呀........所以收少d生,保返個'經貴'地位囉.......唔係咁高入st joe小學比率,真係搵鬼讀佢幼稚園囉

今年九月開學那班好似只要有得in，成功率都唔低．我女兒間幼稚園的ｋ１都有好幾個會轉過去．由幼稚園及小學校長一齊面試，感覺上無乜考小朋友，都係砌下圖，指下圖案，反而不停問家長，點解要揀佢地，有幾認識學校，欣賞自己小朋友哪方面等等．但據聞學校好喜歡全職媽咪．
