請問St.Paul Boy, St Joseph, 高主教,如果三間都收,選邊間好同埋讀得開心d?

All three schools are good, judging from our friends who are their graduates.  They are not only making comfortable livings, more important is that they are very committed to the family and community.  

In our case, the policy dicated our decision, we were in those years when you had accepted a place from DDS school, the child was not allowed a chance in the lottery.  After SPCPS had offered a place, my son's only offer from DDS schools, we decided to give up the lottery even we live in Wan Chi.  

As the new, even changing, policy allows a decision in the very last moment.  You can spend some efforts to study the three schools' children's school lives and draw up a decision table and give rankings to all known factors.   There are always subtle differences and that might help your decision.

However, there are too many unknowns in the world, at the end, we are just servant of our kid and fate.

個人意見---其實, 你都可以再考慮下自己小朋友個資質, 佢係咪自動波, 各方面既成績如果都係好理想既, 都可以一搏ST.JO既, 始終都係唔駛$ma.... 如果係屬於中上, 平平均均既, 而st.paul boy又收左既話, 經濟又許可既話, 咁可以考慮st.paul....

如果ST.PAUL BOY & 高主教都收既話, 我會揀ST. PAUL BOY, 我個同事讀kings, 佢都話中學黎計, st.paul boy既result 係好過高主教 law...

If st. jo is cutting class next year. Is better choose St Jo more that St Paul Boy ? Pls advise.

吾係話St Paul Boy, 高主教吾好，但個人覺得，論名氣、校風、程度，直屬中學，我會揀St Jo，不過有朋友話我知，St Jo 由P.4開始課程係會好深，所以揀得St Jo，家長同埋小朋友都要有心理準備

係呀, 我聽d高年班既家長講, 小四都尚可以, 佢個仔仔一上小五, 學期初已經要用多左成倍既時間去做功課喇.....所以初小都唔可以鬆懈gar, 一定要打好個底...

hehe我仔仔就係讀緊st jo law...      
佢返學一d壓力都無, 好開心, 不過佢都仲係小一姐... 又無我之前所想咁多功課做, 課程同其他小學都差不多, 唔覺得特別深.... 至於大家提到佢既升中壓力, 唔係無諗過, 係諗黎都無用, 只可以全力幫個仔打好個基礎... 校長係家長會既時候提過, 唔知係出於安撫定事實, 雖然中學部收唔晒, 佢話佢地好多仔係中二既時候, 中學個邊都收番晒gar, 叫家長唔需要太過擔心..... 不過呢d唔guarantee既野, 點會唔擔心....

我係大抽獎抽中既, 緊係有考其他學校, 不過香港區只係考左ST.PAUL BOY, 不過只係WAITING, 咁九龍區較好既私校都差不多考左8成gar喇
明年cut唔cut班, 係九月既家長會時, 校長話尚在考慮中, 初步係擬於明年cut 3班黎轉全日制, 不過如果要接龍既話, 中學得200個位, 要預留30%俾街外生, 即係小學要再多cut多一班, 即係得番4班, 之前報紙有提過中學向教署申請緊擴班, 不過未批.......
關於升中既, 我所知既就係咁多姐...[quote]

ckwliu has made it nice and clear. It isn't that one school is intrinsically 'superior' to the others - but 'more suitable' for his kid.

He has put his faith in CKY - and so have I.
