想靠自己教好孩子英文~有心人入黎傾下啦!

我有幸有機會在日本讀書， 而接觸不同國家的人， 包括日本/英國/美國/韓國人/等等

發覺原来我地（普偏）香港人的英文發音都好差（到過外國讀書例外），文法，書写还可以， 例，原来我地自小老師教過的英文24個字母發音中都有好多錯，如果不是有幸接觸外國人， 唉...都吾知其實我地d英文發音水平同日本人差不多

所以， 我就努力學習國際音標。

我在女女一歲多時， 我就每晚讀英文story比她聽， 同她講多一點英文， 在三，四歲時， 就教她phonics，我就覺得拼音对她自己能閱讀英文書 同 spelling 有好大的幫助

但其實phonics， 亦有些缺點， 最全面就要学international phonetic symbols (IPA)/國際音標， 可惜我女女還小， 待她上小學才教她

總之製造多d environment 比她， 令她可多d 機會 講，聽， 写

for story books 我大力推薦oxford reading tree series
for phonics  就 jolly phonics ( easy to learn)
for IPA  就International Phonetic (H.K) Association.

我想問你囝囝在那裡學 IPA, 香港有太多學習社, 我不懂那些是好的。所以請你多多指教, 免得我盲中中亂找。

我自己都是香港舊式教育下的一群, 當然想下一代回更好 一齊努力吧

I sent my son to take phonics class first as my pronounciation is not as accurate as the native teacher. After that, I am able to teach him myself by
- reading books in library
- use the skill to do dictation revision

His English keeps improving and stays 1st in his grade too.

自己教個仔英文﹐這個問題另我很頭痛
仔仔現在小一﹐學校不麥書﹐也不著重寫﹐但教得很亂﹐好像沒有方向。
我也曾經參加家長屏音班﹐但最終發現很難教自己的仔﹐因為他學了老是不記得﹐不上心。
我現在準備這樣造﹕
和他全英語對答﹐(不過真系好難造到)
現在參加了STEP INTO READING 閱讀平臺﹐可以較閱讀功課﹐深淺可自己控制﹐此中多讀英文書是基本
青田有一些不錯的英文書﹐象MAGIC BOX﹐ GALAXY BOOK﹖﹐ OXFORD READING TREE.. (不過好難找時間造)
可能要參加屏音班


各位有無其他方法﹖

I am also using English to communicate with my son while he was 0 yr to 2 yrs. Finally I gave it up because I found he had no interests in Chinese and his spoken Chinese was inaccurate. At that time, I was frightened and quickly switched back to Cantonese. Now he's 6yrs old in P1, and his spoken English is not doing as well as Chinese. Therefore I am rushing to speak more English to him, and let him answer me in Eng full sentence. But it's harder now, so I really encourage parents to talk to your child with both English & Chinese without stop, so your child can get along with both language together.

親親自然學英語是用一套5本（共有3套）的書本，每套講不同的自然科學，但用極簡單的英文，又有CD。我那套在大陸書城買的，但也可以在尚書房買到。

And you have any special method in teaching your son to use the dictionary? Any point we have to pay attention?  Which dictionary you are using? Thank in advance.
