有冇KUMON好介紹!

My son just takes Maths only.  I said the approach is similar “Playgroup”, they may not use playgroup that wording.
I’m a working mami, so I didn’t accompany to my son to attend any Kumon class.  I don't know how many 3-5 yrs old kid in the class, but the centre officer told me that the teacher vs the kids 1:15 is the max ratio.   I attended a talk regarding Kumon introduction that let me know the learning approach & etc before my son’s joining.  
All the class details just come from my son.  He told me that the class will include story telling, sing a song & some words in English & Mandarin learning.  These match with their monthly sybllabus.  I also will give a call to Kumon’s centre to check my son’s status in regular.

I think different centre have a different syllabus (i.e. different story topic/words learning), but they’re learning approach is similar for 幼兒組 (i.e.講故事，教普通話及英文生字，數主題，兒歌等)
My Nephew is studying the Kumon-Math in淘大 & my son is studying the Kumon-Math in Shatin.  都係頭半個鐘類似Playgroup咁，group所有小朋友說故事，唱下歌…...…等等，之後半個鐘各自上返自己科 Maths/English/Chinese

我小朋友上的幼兒組公文數每星期返一次, 每次30-45 mins.  另外再選一節(1/2 hr each week)的遊戲課.  每間centre offers 的時段不一, 負責人說是免費的, 要check清楚.  

Personally, I think the workload is quite high (10 pages per day) although it is just point counting.  My son always refuses to go on when he is half-way through.  The biggest advantage is to train your child to count with his/her eyes.
