Thanks Ian, you added my confidence to Our Lady. My (small) girl is studying in K1, I am struggling is it worth to let her repeat in other "more famous" one drangon e.g. Pui Ching. I heard about that ...
You are welcome! Consider we have only applied to THREE private primary schools this year, we only choose schools which agree with the family values on child education. Hoping there are more parents to share about their experience last Sat.
If your daughter is already in K1, my suggestion is just keep observing her progress and decide. Quite frankly, although it is nice to have through-train to private primary schools, but it is not a must. Like in our case, we have gave up our own private primary school and now is just the same as everyone else. Sometimes it may not be good when you know things too clearly.
I wouldn't say Pui Ching's secondary is not as good, it is simply a reflection of current society's value. Parents have their own priority over the tradition of schools. I would think it is a very sad thing to see. Hope there will be a better day! |
