Just come by this forum again. The acceptance letter, as what Chingching b said, it should be 2 A4 papers and you can feel it on 20/21. But dont be so nervious, parents, your lovely kids will ultimately get a good school. Besides, I would say while DGJS is absolutely a good school, your effort in the coming 12 years will be more important and crucial to your kids success.

Haha, finally my family won and we gave up DGJS. She is now in the "problematic" SPCC. So, in a sense, I should be the winner finally....

Just curious, can you tell us a bit more why you quoted the word "problematic" SPCC?

As my daughter is one of the lucky girl got accepted by SPCC, I am seriously considering this school too. Thanks.

sorry if my word mislead you that SPCC is a real problematic school. I am just joking and there has no problem at all though so many news about the financial situation of the school. The story is my kid got offer from both DGJS and SPCC last year and there was a hot debate in between the family members and I was one stand on the DGJS side. Really sorry about my joke

Among the 560 2nd interview candidates, 140 lucky ones will be receiving offer letters this Sat. But I wanna to know whether they will send out more than 140 offer letters on Sat, as I believe some candidates may drop the offers, eg, got offer from SPCC, SM, MM, MCS, etc.

Or they will just send out 140 letters in case all come to register?

If the game is the same as last year, all 140 acceptance letter will be sent out by the end of this week.  You may receive a call if any un-registration (provided that you are in the list among those 2nd in 500 kids.)  Therefore, the waiting (among 2nd in 500 kids) parents must bring along your mobile (if travel, remember turn on roaming) anytime to prevent any missing call from DGJS.

Note: if you receive the waiting list letter before in 1st batch, no need to wait for the call.  Waiting chance is only for those 500 2nd in kids only.

If acceptance letter issued, how soon that we need to register?  My husband and me will fly for business trip next week.  Can we get help from other people for registration?

If my daughter can be that lucky to be accepted by DGJS this weekend, I may be in the same shoe as you. As I will stand for DGJS, while my daughter will stand for SPCC. Can't expect too much though!

2 more days to go for the release of results, sleepless night...!

If the practice does not change this year, you are just required to send back (by registered mail, NO NEED to be in person) the acceptance reply slip together with a cheque of registration fee and 2 stamped addressed envelopes back to school.  Last year, the school allowed ~3 weeks for registration upon receipt of acceptance letter.

In other words, you may send registered mail for registration straight after you receive the letter.

Thanks for your support though a bit late for me.
However, one of the grounds for voting SPCC last year was SPCC is a Co-ed school which seems to be a more balanced for kids...but who knows..
Anyhow, good luck and hope you will get offer from DGJS
