My friend just called to Stafford. There will be 4 classes in 2010. Three am classes and 1 pm class... one am class size is 24... others usually are 28 to 30....

根德園雖注重中文, 但數學科題目是英文解題. 如果一定要以外藉老師來衡量. 便要選Stafford及SC. 應該好點.

如果想小朋友學口語日常溝通嘅, 一定要NET先做到
HK人自己教~一來唔地道.. 二來~ 我個人對幼師嘅英語水平好有保留!
你叫佢地跟課程教應該無問題嘅..

I agree with you - dont think it's classified as small scale class however i think having NET as head teachers has its advantage! In light of the high birth rate in these years I guess it's hard to keep "small scale" class as running a kindie is also a business!

I think for every school, there's so called weakness and strength so it's hard to judge from the face of it.

我沒有一定要net. 只是有其他家長特別喜歡net. 我自己選時, 以學校為主.

坦白說, 現在非牟利及各地區的私立幼稚園. 很多已有net. 只是時間上會分配多少. 如果真的要選有net同注重有net. 不如選間有net時間最多的學校. 例如國際班或英普班.

我自己認為家裡有個英語工人比學校有net更好. 我身邊例子告訴我. 入所謂有net的學校. 如果家裡不能配合. 不見得會英語流利. 但如果家長可配合, 有沒有net其實已不重要.

哦.....呀........
我諗有少少要搞清楚. NET 系指母語本身系英文(不是指外國人). 而我所見, 好多唔系NET(講東話正到不得了)教英文(但都唔算系幼師)都好好, 見過幾個講故事, 比起個d NET..嘩..唔巧講笑....

Lilian - is it confirmed 24kids per class next year? I heard it is 28 to 30 when I asked last time?

Btw, I agree with many parents NET is important coz as local ppl, we don't have their accent & the way they express. And that's why I prefer Stafford more than York.

My daughter interviewed by Mr Nick & he is very young & nice, I am confident kids will love to talk with him. (my gal is very shy speaking to male, somehow, he can still encourage her to finish the interview).

My friend told me that only 1 am class will be 24 kids...others will be from 28 to 30 kids...

stafford 28-30人一班, 邊算係小班教學呀?

yes, because the K1 class needs more attention. there will be less classes and more children in one class for K2 and K3.

分別係
KV無乜活動, 學費平, 多功課, 如果target傳統小學, 包保小朋友適應上無乜太大問題, 中數強而英文無NET
SC就活d, 多d活動, 透明度好高, 語言 ...

聽朋友講今年SC暫時考直資、私小的結果好似麻麻，係唔係呀？

其實現時好多幼稚園的小朋友都出去上堂學野架啦!
我的小朋友讀KV架, 佢好多FRIENDS讀SC, 所以都幾清楚.

同意KV只係冇NET教英文, 只係本地老師教返, 但絕對唔駛狂補咁誇張!
以我小朋友為例, 佢都係一星期上一次英 ...

做父母好要不斷學習, 感覺極像要從新開始讀幼稚園一次--> 小學--> 中學........真是學海無涯.
