讀直資或私校便冉無政府服務！

小兒因有語言璋礙  ，經排期差不多一年後，始在今年一月在聯合醫院冶療，但最近複診時冶療師表示小兒將升小學，如是津小九月後將由學校跟進，如是直資或私校便冉無政府服務，需自行找私家冶療跟進，這是今年度醫管局新政策。

作為納稅人及自閉症兒童家長，才驚覺到直資小學家長已冉無政府服務，很擔心將來。

請各位指點有怎麼辦法，因私家冶療很昂貴。請賜教。

無辨法,呢d係政府o既安排.
如果你已經選擇了心水的直資小學又不想放棄,你可以考慮一些受資助機構的言語治療服務,並採用隔週上課的方式,應該可以減輕你的經濟負擔,又可以幫助小朋友.
不過有d機構都已經加咗價.....

首先要視乎小朋友有無轉介言語治療，雖然我仔仔讀津小又有轉介，但等到升小二暑假至開始有個四堂o既暑期班上。又唔知服務有幾多、幾耐、導師夾唔夾，相較入間適合的小學重要d。

In fact, even we can afford our kids to study in private/DS primary schools, we have to save as much money as possible for them to do other trainings.  Moreover, I believe why we prefer private/DS schools to govt-subsidized ones are mainly because the former could provide better support to our special needs children.  At least we pay part of it!  For govt-subsidized, we have no say!

Even myself is thinking of giving my son to study in a private primary school as long as the school accepts his situation and is willing to offer necessary assistance.  Teachers with patience and care is also an extremely important factor.  I would rather save on other expenditure then!

My son is going to study in private primary school this September.  as  a result, I have to hire private Speech therapist as well.  I know that apart from private practitioners, there are some non-govt organizations offering service on ST.  Would like to know which organization BK parents would recommend?  Which one will take the shortest waiting time?  Any private ST recommendable?

My son is studying in private primary school. He is refered to govt hospital for further ST service by the st in the nursery, though the waiting time is more than one year. The st in nursery said if student go to DDS school there would not be any referral to government st as govt was supposed to give the fund to DDS school.

I checked non-govt organizations' Speech therapist, it is not cheap.  Most of them the price also around $600.  I found one new formed in Western District, only charge $300/hr, but I visited their Centre, seems not really good.  The therapist is not there, I couldn't talk with her/him directly, only the clerk there, but she didn't know so well.  But if you interest, I can PM the information to you.

我個仔有自閉傾向，之前接受了一年自己比錢的st(痙攣協會)訓練，然後才排到早期訓練，但我覺得早期訓練比到的訓練有限，一年內我仔只見過幾次st，雖然最後早期訓練話他己經比較接近水平(說話句子結構間中會亂，)，但我覺得最大進步是靠自己比錢看st那年，早期訓練若你想見st，要嚴重些才可單獨見面。所以我對政府給予的服務不大信任，今年九月我個仔因上小一，沒早期訓練，而排兒童精神科，排到見醫生，只是問問病情，兩個月再覆訓，就話無乜

我囡囡讀官立小學，處理好似我女兒的case, 都算ok.因我是從津貼小學轉到官立小學，比較下官立小學經驗比較好。不過其實我仍然希望找一間私立或直資學校，希望有媽咪幫到我。

樓主小學唔係沒有語言治療的,你係小朋友果張小學派位表,填左有特殊需要,咁小一下學期會有評估人員同你小朋友做評估,如果有需要,就會按人頭比一批款項學校,由學校請語言治療師到學校同你小朋友做訓練了,當然到時係二年級的事了,所以現在我都同小朋友排左恊康自己比錢,不過仲未有位

Dear Babyland,

Thanks very much for your advice.  Actually I have already found a ST for him in 香港痙攣協會.  It costs $450 per session (45 minutes).  The ST is really good and patient.  She is experienced and could easily observe my son's problems.  I have attended four sessions already.  Though I have to pay for 10 sessions in one go ($4500) and it is really costly, I think that it is effective compared with the one he had in nursery.
