個仔沒有耐性坐定聴我講故事, 看書, 點做呢?佢己經18個月了?

My son was the same when he was 18 mths.  Though I'd bought quite a lots of books for him, when I just opened the book and started to tell the story, he would run away.   

But don't worry, the situation should be improved later.  I put those books in his accessable area and let him take them whenever he wanted.  Whilst I still took chance to open the books and tell him the stories, even a few sentences before he ran away, just kept trying.

Then one day after few weeks, I saw that he was taking out one of the book and 'reading' himself.  I walked to him and he asked me to tell him the story!!!  Ha....from then on, he likes reading, though only for short stories, I think it's a great improvement already.   

Don't be upset!  加油呀   !

我會將D書放係玩具堆裏面，佢自然會睇．

至於唔聽妳講故事，妳試吓係佢身邊自己誇張D讀故事，佢好奇之下可能會行過來望吓，咁咪順勢讀俾佢聽囉．若妳想佢自己睇，咁就試吓作狀立刻把書放在背後，等佢搶嚟睇．不過要持之以恒，一二次未必得架！

呢幾招我都用過，效果點？兩姐弟現在成日爭書睇囉！正豬仔！

不如你試吓用 GC 賣的  First Step to Reading, 唔係幫佢地賣廣告, 不過套書可以用好耐, 有聲, 有書, 有卡, 有簡單遊戲, 我一路指著書內公仔, 一路播cd, 我又慳水慳力, 所以我時時都拿著個手提cd機, 去到廁所都帶埋本書+手提cd機, 佢坐在廁所內大便便, 齊齊坐定定睇書, 好正架

我個仔好鐘意嗰隻講“car”嘅CD，佢投入到我特登係佢面前行嚟行去佢都唔知。乜First Step to Reading 嘅CD有咁多配件架？我都唔係買嘅...

My duaghter will be 18 months next week. She likes to read a lot. She is very interested in reading. Since she was just three months old. She looked at the newspaper when my mother read it. And She knew how to flip the pages when she was only five months old.

I think the family has to have a reading habit. When your kid see you reading, she will just imitate you. So, put lots of books in your house and read all the time. Don't switch on the tv!! And dun think those VCD works, they will just make books boring!

You should borrow books that talk about things that are familiar to your kid and tell the stories in exaggerated tone with body gestures.
