My boy graduated from Anfield.  I can confirm it is a very good school.  It's academic standard is high as compared with other IS kindergarten.  Teachers are also very caring and experienced.  They are famous for languages and disclipines.  That is a school won't disappoint you.

Moreover, i agree with you, my daughter start to study K1 in Anfield already, i feel good about this school in terms of the below:-

1)it organize parents and school communication session for noting parents the teaching key focus of the school

2) the borrow book habits , it encourge students to borrow books from school library, my daugther like reading, of course, i keep my daughter reading habit before ready, but school also give support on this

3) teachers are really caring and nice ...

so, i will recommend this school to other parents ...

My boy is now studying at JIS.  He is also accepted by ICS.  I can say that it is not difficult for Anfield kids to pass the P1 interviews.  Enjoy your Anfield school life!  I miss it very much

So happy to find people who have kids attended Anfield! I am deciding whether to send my kid to their prep program.

Are there any teachers that are particularly good or are they in general all good?

How good is their Putonghua teaching? Could your kids speak PTH well after graduation?

May I also know your kids are studying at their Kowloon Tong site or Whampoo site?  I'm still struggling I sh ould pick which site coz I'm living in Whampoo.  Pls adv your thots.  Tks tons!

As Whampao campau is new, i do not have any comments yet ... My daughter is studying in Kowloon Tong... But i think if the school is near to your home, you can try it and see whether the school fulfill your expectation or not.

Hi all,

I would like to apply the spring term at KLN Tong campus for my daughter, but I heard that most of their English teachers are Indians, and when I visited the school on open day, I had a chance to talk to the Indian teachers and found their pronunciation has lots of accent, no offence to the Indian teachers but surely I'd like my kid to learn proper English in school otherwise I wouldn't put her in international kindergarten.  Could any parents share their experience with this school?  Do you find it a problem?

In fact, my kid is going to their Sat class at Whampoa campus, and surprisingly the English teacher is a Chinese!  I didn't expect Anfield will recruit a non-native English speaker as an English teacher, and superduper disappointed!

In Kowloon tong campus, some of the teachers are Indians, like Preeti and Meena. They are caring and helpful. They may have some accents and the grammar and words they use may not be 100% accurate but they are really nice to parents and students.
Robert is an English guy but his attitude to parents is really poor. A kind of bossy and dominating teacher who always thinks he is right. Luckily, my kid is not in his class now.To students, he seems to be nice and strict. But he is a lazy teacher who never plans enough for the art and craft session. Once he finishes a session, he immediately hurries students and parents out of class. (My kid has been in Anfield for 3 terms).
The activities in playgroup and pre-programme are really good. Students are engaged in the fun activities. So, if you don't mind being taught by Indian teachers, it's still a good choice for you.

I just received the acceptance letter from Anfield, I also want to know that is it a good kinder, and is that most of the students can enter to ESF primary school? My babe is studying in Woodland, I am wondering shall I change to Anfield or stay in Woodland, any suggestion from experience moms?

Dear heihiechuma,

I have also received an acceptance letter from Anfield and I am now considering it.  My boy has been studying at Anfield since 1 year old, I am happy with this school and my son loves this school and his teacher.  My boy improved a lot.  He is a shy boy, after studying there, he starts to express his view/preference and his communication is also improved.  I believe that Anfield is a good school.

Anfield都收左阿囡, 不過我首選係esf, 所以仲15/16, 因為下星期就要比debenture, esf又未有result...

I & my boy love Anfield much.  As I target ICS, I am now considering Anfield for the kindergarten.  I would like to know why you prefer JIS to ICS.

me too, want to get the result earlier, but it seems we have to wait until X'mas.  and I missed the open day of Anfield, wondering can I arranage a visit to the capmus

ICS stands for International Christian School located at Fo Tan (Kindergarten) / Shek Mun (Primary/Secondary).

Hi heiheichuma,

My boy is also accepted by Anfield.  My son had been going to PG since 1 year, I like this school too because there is half an hour Mandarin class every day in K1 which I don't think a lot of international KG offer this.  Their teachers and other staff are also helpful and friendly too.  The KLN Tong campus is quite old and the toys are old too, but hygiene is good.  For me, choosing good teaching staff is more impt than the facilities.  

Maybe you can call them to ask for a school visit.

I joined Anfield open day these two years. Teachers are ver nice but the campus is a bit old. Agreed with HaydenNg that teachers' quality is more important than the facilities.
