Seems like IB is the general path to popular overseas university.. what's your view?

Been hearing some comments some people may feel it's pretty challenging to get  good grades compared to SAT / GSE /AP, etｃ, and lots of research/essays works..

any sharing?

In the following, I will use IBDP for the Diploma Program to differentiate from other IB programs as they are not directly relate to University admission

AP is comparable to IBDP in US system. Both can claim credits in some subjects in certain univerities.

I guess you mean GCE AL, its more UK system. Easy to get good grades, around 30% can have 3As in AL, compared with HK only have ~3%.

IBDP more like mini-university learning environment to coach students to learn how to learn through research, essay writing, experiment and presentation etc. Going through the program successfully, students are well prepared to study in the University and their future career.
