我未有小朋友學, 但想問下, 初學會不會好似'湯'雞甘聲? 同埋係不係日日要練琴?  

聽聞每到一個歲數, 個小提琴就要換, 甘一個琴要幾多錢?

不好意思, 甘多問題, 因為我依家諗緊將來比個仔學小提琴好定係剛琴好.

我就因個女想學小提琴 ,又想試吓學鋼琴,我因家沒有位放置鋼琴而叫她學小提琴試吓鐘唔鐘意? 因她已學梗ballet啦,要學兩日而時間都幾難就。但見她拉了幾堂又好似拉得幾好,可能會叫她繼續學。

我大仔在5歲曾學過 violin , 現在有2個小提琴在家，一個3/4 或 1/2 ( 好似係咁，其實在那處見到果係幾大 size ？ )

但我唔捨得果2個 violin , 但家中已有座綱琴，但好想細2個其中一個學到 violin ，將來可合奏，點算？但細2個剛剛已學網琴個幾兩個月了，請給意見，好嗎？

Hello 程程媽,

Sorry, Gigi just learn the violin ja. I also haven't got any info. how to see the violin. She want to learn Piano too. May be I will let her try and see which one she want to learn? (Piano or Violin?) I prefer she learn Violin because I don't want to put a piano at home. Not enough place for her la. And I also find a new violin teacher for her 1:1, if she want to continoues the violin than I will asked the teacher how to see the violin ga.

I would like to join and share;

My son (4 years and 2 mons), learn violin (5 mons),
Learning through musical centre, start to learn on one-to-2 and just change one-to-one last mons.

Why he learn?
He request to learn since he like guitar very much and drum, but he saw the guitar is very big and then he said learn violin first, and he can play guitar when he grow up.  

Do your teacher tell you how long they can start to have exam of Grade one.  How's your kid learnign progress.  I can't play any musical instrument, that's why i don't know his progress is good or not.  But the teacher said is satisfied.

Do your teacher tell you how long they can start to have exam of Grade one. >>> I don't know ga. My daughter just learn for 5 lessons and I find that she is quite good and love in it. May be I will change the 1:1 teacher for her in June ga. I just find one teacher that he can come to my home and teach her. The teacher is a F.5 student in 皇仁 and he finished the Violin Grade 8 since he was 13 years old. He also can teach english for my daughter ga. He will come this June. I hope he can teach well.

How's your kid learnign progress. I can't play any musical instrument, that's why i don't know his progress is good or not. >>> As same as you la, I don't know ga. But I will keep check with her teacher law.

My son likes music.  In last year, his school provided a list of musical instruments for students to choose.  He chose 二胡 in the first instance.  However, as he also learns piano, I let him listen to the sound of violin  and 二胡 and he loved the violin sound more.  So I chose violin for him.

I have also asked the similar to our teacher. She said that it will 2 to 3 years to Grade 3. She does not suggest to take Grade 1 or 2 exam, too simple. Besides, it's too boring for just practice two songs for 6 to 9 months for the examination for a small kid.

I initially think that a Grade 1 qualification in violin may be a good asset for my daughter in apply P1. However, I recent learnt from a friend , his daughter is studied in St. Paul Co-ed, a Grade 1 qualification is more or less the same as telling the school that you are learning music. As least your child has a Grade 3 or above qualification will accord priority. As most of the applicatants will learn one or two muscial instruments with grade 1 qualification.

Thanks for your comments.  That's what I am thinking now with Grade one exam result will be an advantage when applying P.1, since my son is only 4 year and 2 mons now, I think it is impossible for him to archieve Grade 2 or above.  I think I will ask the teacher again.  May be just like what you said, so many students has Grade 1 qualification with various musical instruments.  It is not a special.  Then how about your kid's application for P.1.  Did you tell them your kid is learing violin?

My son is only in K1, he is a big boy since born in Feb.  Your musical centre is cheaper, for mine, it is $580/4 lessons for 1:1.

It is quite expensive of your musical centre wo. Which one? My 上門 teacher 1:1 only HK$400.00 for 4 lesson and 45min/lesson. I check other before that also HK$4XX.- for 4 lesson for 45min/lesson ja. Firstly my teacher tell me just for 30min, than I asked him to provide 45min than he agreed.

之前呀女學過piano, 但佢無心機學, 停左. 而我是想佢學一種樂器, 小提琴細小方便, 佢又有興趣, 所以報左來學. 未知成績點, 可能佢學多幾堂又會唔學, 不過而家表現是有興趣的, 返到屋企會自己練琴 (當然是湯雞咁聲), 我先報小組班, 冇咁悶, 若進展良好, 會轉1:1, 學費其實差不多.

佢個琴是1/8, 要$560, 不過可先租後買, 我知是貴左些少的. 唔知出面1/4是賣緊什麼價錢呢???
