我想問下各位媽咪有關你小朋友返緊既英文班:

1.  一星期裡面返幾多日同埋每堂有幾長時間?
2.  價錢如何, 會唔會額外再比錢買教材?
3.  成效如何?  例如Phonics, 你點知佢識定唔識?  有冇真正學到野返黎?

My son (4 Yrs old) is taking two different classes of English lessons in a nearby learning centre every week.  One is a class lasted for 1 and a half hours, with 8 kids in the class.  They will spend half hr teaching phonics, and the other hr will teach English via story-telling, singing, games, doing simple arts and craft.  The other class lasted for 1 hr, it is a 1to 2 class, concentrating on conversation.  Two classes are taught by native English speaking teachers. Each class costs around $650 a month.  All teaching materials are included.  

My son seems to enjoy both classes very much.  As for phonics, frankly speaking I don't know if he learns it from school or from the English class, as his kindergarten also teaches phonics.  However, his pronunciation do improve and he's more willing to talk to native English speaking people.

May I know more about the ESF class?  What will they teach?  Are the students mostly come from local schools?  Do you think that it is really useful for improving your kid's English?

In summer, ESF has classes from Mon to Fri, will your kid join then?
