Can we hold two or more DSS seats?

Does anyone know if my kid has already registered with a DSS school...

(a) I knew we need to give up the lucky draw in Jan 07, but will my kid be considered in the first round with result to be announced in mid-Nov?

(b) if yes and we luckily got a seat from the govt school we applied, does it mean that I can register with the govt school (in this case, I have to fortfeit my registration fee with DSS and no refund)?

(c) if we give up govt school and still take the registered DSS, can I accept another DSS offer later?  we can hold both DSS seats and decide later or once we accepted the second DSS, the first one will automatically lapse?

Any parents can help???

Yes, I guess u got no refund from the dss after u register the gov't school.  but I think dss should not receive any registration fee from parents before mid-nov, ie. they should collect the registration fee only after mid-nov, I guess emb should take control of this to ensure no profit making on registration by dss!!!  emb should ensure dss to collect it after mid-nov.  otherwise parents may lose one or two registration fee because some dss (private school) may collect it earlier than other dss (private school).  By  the behaviour of those school, you may also learn something from that school!!!!
Good luck and do talk to emb about this since emb may not observe this - save parents money and this is parents right!  Be fair to parents - parents contribute so much already to children education nowadays!!!
