bbtitko,
Since I don't know the syllabus in Creative and St Cat, I cannot compare these schools with LH directly.
For LH, in K1 first semester, there is one homework + 2 story books every Friday. In K1 2nd semester, there is 1 homework everyday. On Friday, there is 2 homework and 2 story books. In K2, there is 2 homework everyday + other homewok and story books on Friday.
For K1 Eng and Chi, LH puts much focus on speaking and listening. There is "show and tell" every week and the kids are free to bring a toy or a book to school to present to classmates. This "show and tell" activity continues in K2 and K3 but the theme will be different.
In K3, there is English & Chi dictation once a week.
I don't find LH pushy. LH focus in developing kids' learning interest. Based on comments from most parents of my son's classmates, LH kids love doing homework and they always ask whether there is more homework...
Since I don't have much time to spend with my kids after work, if I find a very pushy school for my kid, it will be a disaster for me, my kid and the whole family. LH is a good choice for me.
I think kids from LH can be suitable for both traditional and DSS primary schools. It's just that I personnally don't prefer a traditional one.
Feel free to let me know if you have other questions on LH.
