My daughter said they can only read books during the self reading lessons, can't do homework nor study.

Anyone know why I can't find the2010 school notices from intranet? I can only see the old ones (last year).

The teacher wrote on the handbook :"Reply slip (Circular 10_11_C029) missing", anyone know what is this? I can't find it at home.

Hi muimuiyan,
Yes, it's very 老土 that the school doesn't let students to do their hw or study at school with so many teachers around to guide them. Many schools out there use this last lesson to let their pupils to finish part of their hw to reduce the workload of students and parents.

Reading is actually one of their homework, they need to read 2 class library books every week & in addition, they need to do some extra reading either borrow books from school library or from public library. If our daughters can finish reading the books at school then they can use that extra time to finish their other homework, study at home.

C029 is about the reopening of school library and the starting of self-learning & reading scheme. The scheme will start on 20-9-2010. 'My reading Record' is given to the students. They need to complete at least level 2 of the reading scheme by 4/2011. The library card and the morning reading card should be put in a card holder and bring to school every day.

請問library 同 morning reading area係唔係未開? 我個囡今日lunch後去 library 無開, 呢2日返到學校去 morning reading area 都係無開....

Yes. My girl has also borrowed a book from the morning reading session on Monday. But the opening time is only from 7:15-7:40.

May I know what the "Participation Stats" in our intranet means? There are several categories in the "Participation Stats" including "Handbook", "Project", and "Social Corner" etc. Thanks!!
