對！被勸退應是個別情況，相信不是每個班主任都是這樣，只是個別班主任是這樣，亦可能是好心，或許有個別學生因能力問題真的不適合普通話教學，退一步可能更好。

我都認為"被勸退"係個別情況，我小朋友現讀K1，佢母語係廣東話，都係完全唔識普通話，老師不時會同家長跟進小朋友在學校情況，我都曾經擔心過小朋友普通話上課是否能適應，老師會鼓勵家長"小朋友適應力好快，不用擔心"，始終幼稚園都是群體生活，小朋友都會互相學習互相模仿，聽不懂普通話都會跟從其他小朋友一齊行動，我小朋友都曾在學校遇到小問題，老師都怕他普通話不明白，改用廣東話解釋給他聽，絶對不會因為聽不明普通話而忽略佢。

我覺得應該係個別情況，不需要在此處叫家長諗定後路咁恐怖喎！

K1只是返學幾個月，當然無事。因聽過家長說小朋友返了全年K1都聽不太懂普通話，被班主任勸小朋友轉校，最後轉了另一校k2。

當然個個小朋友的語言能力不同，有些會好快學懂，有的PN上來亦無困難，有的家裏多聽亦無問題，offer當然take 了先，但上學一段長時間還未適應普通話教學，就要想定後路，因為k1老師一般不會講廣東話教學，老師亦無暇特別照顧。

Its not the case in my girl's class. She is PN student in KCS local stream. All the teachers are very kind and considerate. They use both Cantonese + Mandarin during class. Of coz mainly is Mandarin since its school curriculum comprised of teaching Mandarin / English. Even the master teacher will speak Cantonese to me as she knows my girl is Cantonese-based family. I have also inquired about if any problem for non-Mandarin native to study in KCS kindergarten, teachers confirmed its not an issue as they believed that kids will learn to adapt it gradually. Now my girl (who has attended only for 4 months in KCS) can speak a few words of Mandarin and sure she can tune her "channel" when facing different people. She speaks Cantonese and English at home while she understands Mandarin at school. I think its just like all other kindergartens which are Eng/ Man stream.
Hope it can shield some light on those parents who concern about it.
